just a thought, do you think if we all got behind Ashley, signing gloriously for him at games, he wouldthink he's god and spend double the money? if so let's start licking his arse as he's not going no where.
I think if people looked at the bigger picture and realised that he's not doing such a bad job, instead of constantly demonising him for everything that happens they would hate him less.

first of all we shouldnt be signing miralem sujamani, seen the lad play a few times and has never impressed, ajax paid way over the odds for him initially (15mil) and after one year he was linked with a loan move to west ham (only reason why it didn't go through was because he didn't get a work permit) ive seen people on all sorts of forums talk about goalscoring records etc (and criticising the likes of erdinc and a few others), well his 'breakout season' was 13 in 52! in a league where the likes of huntelaar, van nistlerooy, kezman, even the smoggies ex striker afonso alves have scored 30/40 goals a season there to which bar RVN none have been able to produce in other leagues, secondly i agree with the post before about barnetta and nzogbia, barnetta is overrated and we would be better off with n'zogbia who is proven in the EPL, erdinc is a good player, didn't have the best of seasons last year as PSG played a lot of games as a front 3, rather than 2 as they did previously when he was successful. Matuidi is a good player but not worth the 13mil asking price! demba ba deal seems to be just about done, good signing on a free. a few people id like to see us have a look at are: georginho wijnaldum, marvin martin, ryan bertrand (if jose leaves, would provide good competition with neil taylor), sturridge on a loan deal, scott dann is a very good player, all good and young players which fit our criteria some are harder targets than others, but i don't feel any of them are impossible?! i think we should go for upson as he is on a free, maybe look and mcfadden, reo-coker, seb larsson, garrido, gera and vieira all as good squad players all for free! maybe even hardgraves on pay as you play but i think his career is over. Ba deal done, same with taylor just formalities to sort out now! i have been banging on for ages on this website that Mike Ashleys plan at NUFC is to replace older high earners with younger players not much older than 26.
you only have to look at yohan cabaye a french international who's just won the french league and is apparently happy to accept a 30kpw contract at nufc opposed to what someone like kevin nolan was after.

My views on the recent happenings: I personally think the Nolan sale was good in terms of football but bad in terms of team spirit. He has peaked on the pitch in my opinion and a 5-year deal was silly, however, he was a very big presence and very, very good leader. But, onwards and upwards and we still have a very good amount of time to make signings.
Ba will be a good signing but I know our luck with injuries and I wouldn't be too shocked if that knee gave out at some point- but why not take the risk? He's a very good striker.
Matuidi at 13m (as reported I think) is too much, from what I saw of him, he's not worth it. The likes of Milner, A.Johnson will never sign for us in my opinion- we need good, young, experienced, European based players who want a starting team in the Premier League (Like Tiote from Twente.) A few players I like:
- Boudebouz
- N'Diaye
- Wijnaldum
- Sulejmani
- Tremoulinas
- Diabate
On a separate note, people are saying the Barnetta deal is imminent, does anyone have a source or is it a case of one person saying it and now everyone is. .

figured out new LB Jonathan Spector recently released but West Ham meaning free and is capable anywhere along the back four and can also play CM so pardew is killing two birds with one stone Spector will be new LB but will cover Centre Back postion if injuries and suspetions come along and if this happens Neil Taylor to fill in at LB tada!

1. Does anyone think it's weird Cabaye wasn't given a number? (ok maybe summat to do with registration. . however), maybe the plan was for Nolan to go all along and Cabaye will be new number 4
