I think Adam Johnson should come to toon he's young English and very fast perfect for europe.

Good player and think he might be a decent price to buy but can not see him coming as we have a wage structure and i,m sure edd on here said the other day that he has a bad reputation ..

Here is a reminder of some of the Pundits and Mackem predictions for our season
At pre season - NUFC have sold their best players and bought crocks and unknowns.SFC have bought wisely with proven PL players.
Start of the season -NUFC will never get them to gel and will be relegated.SFC will have higher attendances and be top dogs again.
After second game of the season-NUFC are lucky SFC have a stronger squad andwill finish above NUFC by end of the season.
Pre Christmas- SFC will catch NUFC before Santa arrives.(7points ahead)
Post Christmas - SFC will catch NUFC when the ACON takes half the team away.NUFC3 MANU 0
February - The NUFC squad is too small and the bubble will burst
March - SFC are the form team in the PL will soon catch the 10 points up.NUFC bubble will definitely burst soon (NUFC 1 SFC 1)
April - Lucky NUFC have sneaked 5 wins on the trot but it wont last and they wont get into top 5.
{ SFC 17 points behind are unlucky with referees,injuries, under performing so called proven PL players they bought ,M O'n failing to qualify for Strictly Come Dancing and a bad batch of pies}
Last home games 52000 at SJP 37000 at SoL
Dont you just love it when so many things that are said turn out to be so wrong and I am prepared to bet it wont be any different next season

I listened to one pundit of Talk Sport a couple of days before the season started an he was raving about O Shame and Brownie from man utd and how sunderland were now to be considered as a top 4 (yes 4) club, on the same interview he said the Toon would struggle to avoid relegation because we were selling our top players and we had no vision or direction. wonder how much experts like him get

Stan collymore came out and says sunderland would finish above us coz of oneill.

Well judging by the way you're laughing at every one elses mis judgements on the outcome of this season you must be about to win alot of money at the bookies from the bet you put on Newcastle to finish in champions league/eurpoean spot!!Lets face it the vast majority of your fans expected top 10 at best. I honestly think you're achievement has been outstanding this season-genuinly as much as it pains me to say it. But to come on a behave like you expected it. And I'm prepared to bet that we'll give you a run for your money next season. Why-because O'Neil is a better manager than Pardew. Pardew always starts well at clubs but its about how you finish. O'Neils win % is already better at Sunderland than Pardews is for Newcastle. I can't wait for next season because I think Newcastles brilliant success this season shows that the big boys can be shaken up without spending hundreds of millions.

Right mate i think i speak for the majority of toon fans and at the beginning of the season we would of been happy with 7th or 8th.just we got sick of 99% of makems posting on our site that we had no money and we where going to relegated and pardews french legion are crap and would not jell..so imagine how much greef we are going to give when all them makems had egg on there face just as you,s did when we got relegated its called BANTER so no we never expected to be where we are but the way we have played most of the season we DESERVE IT..finally mon will have a better % at sol than pardew as pardew as been there longer its that simple..if you look at this tear think pardew as won more games and probably a better win %in 2012...

Please refer to the post you are responding to. Never once did I say you didn't deserve it it in fact I think I've been pretty complimentary for a Sunderland fan and given credit where credit is due. In fact I said "you're achivement has been outstanding this season" and also "Newcastles brilliant success". Was only pointing out that although many of us (not me personally) thought you would be struggling this season- there was a hell of alot of your own fans were of a similar mindset. And what you said about banter- well exactly surely you expect us to come and and tell you we're gonna catch you next season. Would be very boring if we didn't!

Banter it is mate and the only thing sunderland will catch next season is cold as u wont be able to atract decent players unless they are man u rejects and tbh agent bruce aint there now for back handers so thats out the question but you can all dream....
