Ed, Is there any truth behind the Bent rumours? He's an ok player but not what we should be pinning our hopes on?! {Ed001's Note - not that I am aware of.}
1.) No but there is truth in Derek lying bambastic quitting

Hi Ed, I have heard through quite a large grapevine that we are monitoring the Toivonen situation between PSV and Norwich? Any truth in this? {Ed003's Note - No idea mate I have never visited that grapevine so wouldn't know what they say,do grapes talk? }

After watching the Italy v Japan game last night I think we should take a serious look at Honda. I know a lot of teams will be looking at him but he's free so worth putting our name in the mix. A truely talented player worthy of the NUFC shirt. {Ed001's Note - and his contract expires at the end of December.}
1.) Thank you for adding that Ed, didn't realise it was December it ran out. Thought he was a free as of now. {Ed001's Note - no mate, the BBC have been putting out false info, probably because they don't bother to do their research. I would guess they have been told it runs out at the end of the season and they are too damn lazy to find out which season!}
2.) Ha that wouldn't supprise me at all. Thanks for clarifying anyway. Still would love to see him come at christmas. Newcastle's christmas pressent to us fans.

Rumour has it we are willing to break our tranfer code and buy bent who is 29?! Why would we not go for Defoe who IMO is twice as good and has a better goal scoring record. Would cost roughly the same as well
1.) Would prefer bent really and defoe's like 30, 31 now. Bent is the sort of striker we need, technical, fast and give him a chance and he'll score.

Possibility of us getting Crouch. Not in our age transfer system but Stoke are trying to reshape and he is a proven goal scorer in the PL. Wasn't played too much last year as Pulis had his 'favourites'. A fee of about £5 mill should secure him

If we can get Tomkins and keep him fit then yes would be a cracking buy.
Redmond has agreed deal at Norwich.
Van Aanholt as previously stated is on loan again.
Bent maybe (I don't particularly want him at Newcastle) but apparently has offers away from PL as well.
Sinclair is out from having a rib removed due to a blood clot so unlikely but he should recover fully by end of |Sept so maybe seen as a season loan more than anything.
Fer I believe has joined another club after failing medical at Everton I believe.
Would add that although Huddlestone has had contact with Sunderland he is unsure whether it is worth going or not so is still available and I for 1 would welcome him coming here.
Villa will fall on their face. don't have a squad capable of lasting the whole season.

Heard Tottenham are looking to get rid of Defoe, doesn't fit in with our age policy but would be a good purchase for a couple of mill. Also have heard from a Totenham fan (not reliable but just passing it on) that they are looking to get rid of Huddlestone and Livermore?! Huddlestone looks like he has overcome his injury problems and Livermore looks a good player for the near future. On a possitive they are also all English. Will help for when the quota comes into force.

As it stands I can't see us being any better situation than last season. I hate to say it but if I was a player I wouldn't want to come to our mess of a club. Really worried about relegation again.

Errrrrr NO.
Waste of space. Was a fantastic talent at City but got too big for his boots and stopped trying. Has lost his way and will be lucky to be picked up by the PL new comers.
Has been in a down-hill spiral since he lied about his Gran dying to get out of International duty.
