Vida what do you make of Rafa coming on board?

i'm sure he will be given a large bonus if he kept the club up so it's a no brainer for him to take the job.
though I don't think Rafa is the type of guy who wants a relegation on his CV so I think he'll be motivated to keep us up and improve us in the longer term.

{Ed001's Note - who else could Newcastle have got? He will work those players hard, while McClaren was soft on them and it was clear that approach did not work. Maybe Rafa's will? Or maybe they are just not good enough? Only time will tell on that, but there certainly needed to be a change of approach, the players were coasting through the season under the brolly.}

Hello Des, not my first choice but he is 100% better than Wally Beggars can't be choosers, but with only 10 games to go it us going to be touch and go even for him.
The fools left it 4 games too late to sack Mc Nugget so fingers crossed.
I suppose tomorrow will give some indication of his formation etc, but anymore injuries and we are knackered

Hope I am wrong but I can see NO points in the next 2 games.

Another late night for you.

Ed think that this appointment has nothing to do with Ashley other than he pays the wages.
Panic has set in and after the Derby the idiots at the club will be totally exposed for their incompitence.

For sure RB is a lot bettet but too late I am afraid.

{Ed001's Note - I think panic set in and resulted in McClaren personally. I mean the guy has never shown any ability to manage anywhere he has gone. Worse, they gave him a place on the board! I mean that is a move borne out of panic. I have no idea what has happened this time, but it has gone well beyond panic....}

I think Rafa is also on the board. Might not mean anything until we know which league we're playing in next season but he has been quoted as saying he's on the board.
