Andros Townsend will be leaving Tottenham to join Newcastle in January, with Ayoze Perez being used as a makeweight.

I hate to say this but Daniel Levy will look a fool in 12 months time after selling Andros. He was an England International on the verge of great things, until Spurs ended up with simply too many midfielders.

With Eriksen, Dembele, Dele Alli, Dier, Son, Lamela, Chadli, Mason, Onomah and even Pritchard all ahead of him there was only ever one outcome.

Case of bad luck for Andros and he like Capoue at Watford, Sigurdsson at Swansea, Paulinho at Corinthians and even Kaboul and Lennon he will come good with a regular starting place at Newcastle.

Townsend will probably end up at Newcastle. But not at the expense of ayoze Perez.

Heard from spurs fan that he's not consistent. That's why he not in team. There are some good players around. If it is true then we could do without him. We need someone 100%commited week in week out especially in our current position.
