Surely we should concentrate on the league. Forget the cup. Play reserves I don't care. But we will need our big players for next two home games . Non of this tirdness excuses. Surely when he c said he'd play strong teams at begining of season we were not meant to be in bottom three. A good manager and leader can go back on their words if it makes sence.

I think if they can open his eyes with potential, enthusiasm and fans love to be entertained . its a winner for everyone and more cash for him.
{Ed025's Note - for me george the answer would be to keep the manager (hes a good football man) get rid of the owner and half the squad who are just happy to pick up the dosh every week..starting with cisse..

He hasn't hardly set the world alight in his career. This board wasnt with him then when he failed.
{Ed025's Note - its all about opinions george i suppose, newcastle are a massive club with amazing support so why cant they progress?..its not always the manager mate, pardew is a very good manager and he could not crack it, so you have to look at the board for me...ashley is the common denominator of all things that have gone wrong imo..

Adama traore possibly on way to liverpool with villa and Everton also chasing him. 19 years old looks well worth buying. Surely even ashley can see he's an asset that potentially should increase. speed .flair. and doesn't get knocked off ball easy.

it seems not up to Ashley these days, remember we have a football board to make these decisions. McClaren - to his credit seems focused upon bringing in players who could immediately improve the 1st team.

I agree. The problem is not that we want to buy players now it will be attracting them. We may get one or two but I suspect we will have to dig ourselves out with pretty much what we have and that is not a good thought.

speed has always been a problem recently, it's the reason why Obertan still has an occasional good game in the prem. If he lost his speed he'd not be a footballer. would really like to see 2 proper out and out wingers - the worst thing is - we have them already. Striker question still needs answering.

If berhino wants to come just buy him. We can always off load cissee. Riviera etc in january when relegation looms for some clubs and they become desperate for a striker. In the meantime we won't have a striker shortage

If we won all them games we would be Challenging 4th spot. i'd be happy out the bottom 6 at xmas then hopefully push up the league after transfer window opens

Heard from spurs fan that he's not consistent. That's why he not in team. There are some good players around. If it is true then we could do without him. We need someone 100%commited week in week out especially in our current position.

I don't think he up to it either. Two good recent results ain't enough. he's got it all to prove still. January transfer should show us what ashley plans are . e.g will be trust him enough to give him some decent cash.

Almost relegated last year so let's get a manager who got sacked from a championship team.team and maclaren at rock bottom.think ashley was thinking two minusus might equal a plus . Well he wrong. That's three minusus which means crisis. Should not of got macleren. and bought more players esp strikers. No excuses
