Looks like our chances of signing Pierre-Michel Lasogga are over. Apparently been offered £55k by Leverkusen. No chance MA will sanction that layout, plus the possible £6m-7m fee.

Geordietoon didn't mean it as a "it's his fault", more that he isn't proven enough to be worth that.

And wasn't trying to stick the dagger in either. I do however semi agree with the clubs policy of trying to buy players only 'if the price is right'. Unfortunately for all the right noises they make, they never seem to have a backup plan.
