Do not rate bent at all bobby robson bid 1 million for him when he was our manager they wanted 3 million when we bought dyer....keep him think kuyt is to old tbh and if we do brake the age group i would prefer to buy berbatov but we have an age group of 26 so it aint happening....smb

Dyer was class when he was fit... But he rarely was. Shame really. Bent was class when he signed for Spurs... was class, now he is sh*te, hence Livrpool wanting to spend 30 mil on him!

Ive said it all season, we need to be better from corners and set pieces. Its so easy for an opposition team to defend a corner swung into the front post. It seems to be the only thing we do. (Accept when it was pulled back and demba hit the bar against chelsea.)

On today, wasn't really expecting to get anything from the fixture, but I thought we put up a good fight and may even have nipped something. Santon is absolute quality. Need a better plan B though, Ferguson is a good prospect, but not at the level yet.

You never know, if we get a result against Everton, and spurs or arsenal slip up...

Lets not get stupid now, hes nowhere near the quality of enrique when he left us, but he's a lot better in his first season than enrique was, has real potential cracking signing for 5 mil

Santon is absolutely class he's young doesn't speak English and has had a bad knee for the last 12 months. Give him more games and time and he'll be one of the best left wing backs in the world.

Well what a season and everyone needs congratulating.Pardew,Players,Scouting team,Supporters AND yes Mike Ashley. Now hopefully if there are any big money signings,it must be a top class centre half. We also need 2 full backs and most importantly keep hold of out top players. Our attacking options at the moment are second to none and before any clever Muckems start saying Bardsley and Sess would get into our team, well we are looking for far BIGGER names and Players than them 2 considering where the club stands now. Also heard that Graham Carr has no intention of being poached by Chelsea or Liverfools and is close to signing a 5 year contract. What a great time to be a Geordie. SMB SMB SMB

Newcastle reportedly closing down on A-League pair Curtis Good for 250,000 pounds (from Melbourne Heart) and Leo Bertos for 100,000 pounds (from Wellington Phoenix). Also hearing rumours of Roy Krishna (Waitakere United) and Manel Exposito (Auckland City FC) being looked at. Finally, Athletic Club Santa Rosa's Oscar Roberto 'Toto' Cornejo Hernandez is apparently at the top of Carr's shortlist.
