I hope JoerKins big week isint Perch out Bent in
I don't mind Bent if we get him for 4-5 mil and I don't mind Perch going, but just like the misses said to me "that hardly earth moving"
Believable7
Unbelievable4
Strange. she's never said that to me!

Why do you care how much Bent costs? I mean. Fans shouldn't care about prices. We aren't paying. What you need to be considering is realistic targets and getting them in the door. That's its. If Bent comes for 4 great. If he comes for 8 its great. He's proven and will score more than Cisse.
Agree6
Disagree8
A big week for others maybe, a big letdown week for us. Again
Agree4

What about Rhodes from Blackburn? Or Austin or Joliet maybe.
Agree2

We are an ignorant mans poor mans team with no hope of competing with teams who a few seasons could not hold a candle to NUFC but are way ahead in thinking and honesty to their fans
Sooner fans realise this the better STAY AWAY from SJP until it changes
Agree7
Disagree3
I think the reason fans would be upset at Bent for £8m is because you could get Remy or say Defoe for that, both better players you could argue.
Agree4
Disagree2
Bent is a wahed up waster who has done nothing in the league for 2 seasons, there is a good reason he didn't get a look in at villa because he has a p, iss poor attidude. when he didn't get picked for villa last season for a vital relagation game he went out shopping during the game. trust me he is not the type of player u want at our club
Agree6
Disagree4
Are you Darren Bent by any chance?
Agree2

Anyone think there is something big brewing behind the scene? Can't imagine Pardew wanted Perch out, we don't seem to be going after anyone seriously, and Pardew is on a long-term contract. I wonder if Pardew is negotiating his exit package. It sure seems like JK is being teeed up as the new manager.
Agree2
Disagree3
Can't believe he's got rid of Perch! (Kinnear- Pardew loves him) The only player to actually improve in the last 2 years and was much better than Tiote at DM last season. Get rid of the real rubbish like Obertan, Williamson, Gosling etc.
Also, Bent is a similiar type but considerably worse than Cisse. He's too old, too greedy and too useless. So Kinnear will probably try to buy him.
Agree2
Disagree2
How one earth are we not paying?
Is that an imaginary 52000 attending every week then
Agree2
Disagree1
I wouldn't mind Perch out & Bent in for the first week of the transfer window.
Especially if we Bent for bargain basement prices, he was a 20+ million striker that Chelsea were looking at not that long ago.
Bent just needs a fresh start and he can get back to his best, I think once you are in lambert's bad books, that is it.
Perch out and Bent in would = an improved squad.
We need to get rid of all these 'jack of all trades, masters of none. ' It is counter productive to have a team fill of plug holes and fix gaps.
Agree1

Knowing our luck, we'll pay 8million and get Marcus Bent!
Agree4

Villa want 8 mil because that's what they still owe us from his transfer to Villa

Cannot believe Perch has been sold whilst Williamson, Jonas and Obertan still wear the black and white. Ridiculous, great first move JFK you utter pillock.
Believable10
Unbelievable2
Disappointing to get rid of a squad player who can do a job in a number of positions
Would have thought its the type of player we need in a small squad
Agree5

Has anyone thought he might have wanted to leave. He's sure to be a regular starter for Wigan.
Agree1
Disagree1
Perch is poor sorry but jfk got this one rghti
Agree4
Disagree3
He was poor as a full back. As a DM he was very good when he came in: won the ball and played it quickly and simply. Was much better than Tiote last season! As he was absolutely abysmal.
Agree2
Disagree1
I will agree if we manage to bring in a replacement. Otherwise its the same old failings. We need squad depth.
Agree2
Disagree2
Also 700k is peanuts, he's worth more than that. It's not like we needed to sell.
Agree2
Disagree1
I would rather we got 700k plus saved a years wages on him, it's better than losing him for nothing next summer.

Free agents we should look at:
Jaozinho-winger (Krasnodar) Brazillian
Digao-centre back brazillian
Honda pre contract for january

Hondaaaaa

I feel that the Toon are missing a trick by their inactivity in the market so far. All their reported targets will be gone by next week whilst Kinnear has a well earned break after a whole weeks work. Can't understand why they don't go after the likes of Ince and Redmond, both young and fitting the club profile, both good players and best of all, English. Should be an interesting derby next season with few players from these shores. Is this why England youth teams have failed over the summer? Me thinks so. MTFC forever.

Digao a 27, who has been at New York Red Bulls since 2012 and has not played one game.
He must be crap?

Its the other digao 25 yrs old for fluminese as original poster stated

Related to Kaka isn't Digao? And yeah useless.

Cant see us signing Honda, Ashley prefers cheap French deals so possibly citroen or Renault maybe

Toon bid 4. 75m for aurana kone. hopefully our african players will give us an advantage over Everton and Westbrom
Believable2
Unbelievable13
Doesn't his old manger now manage Everton?
Agree5
Disagree2
If your right and doubt this. Everton have bid £5 million so that is us out. Ashley won't go that high.
Agree5
Disagree2
Do we really want him - never rated him as a player
Agree7
Disagree2
His finishing is about as good as Ameobi's, only Ameobi can actually hold the ball up.
I would not want Kone if we got him on a free and only had to pay him 5k a week, total waste of time.
Adam Campbell is 10x better.
Agree1

He is going to everton
Agree3
Disagree1
Campbell its still to be seen how good he is, sorry but he was useless last season.
Stop putting the weight of the world on a young lads shoulders, he needs to grow, and as a forward the only way you learn is by playing, i'd say another two season and we will finally see how good he is going to be.
We know he is fast, got a good touch, but his knowledge isn't there, he gets the ball and panics, not knowing where to go.
Give him two season at the most and we will see

Nakki wells is training with us this week

He is better than cisse one season wonder. lol and any way he will sign for everton he wants to play for martinez

Rooney Netmar and a host if other youngsters did not need time they flourished AND we need to play this lad and this season

Campbell was useless last season?
He got about 40 minutes in total Premier League game time, and we scored at least 3 goals in the time he was on the pitch.
I guess you have not seen him play.

I fear we are going to have to go for someone like Remy. Face it, I now think we are not going to get bent because the price too high, PEA won't reject dortmund. Bony is off to swansea. Remy has an 8m release clause, pardew said we're still interested. c'mon he's proven in the prem, I'd rather have him than Bent, Ideye. There are lots of mercenaries these days, you can't help that. If we do miss out on bony, PEA we may as well go for him.
Believable8
Unbelievable4
Remy has proven he can do it in the PL so he is a good shout however with our extremely tight owner would he pay the price? I doubt it.
Agree3
Disagree3
Spot on about Remy, but sadly it will be journeyman and injury prone Bent aged 29 which goes totally against one of the club's better policies and sadly means Pardew has more say on transfers.
Agree4
Disagree3
Pardew said he would love to work with Bent. Ex-mackem or not the boy still knows how to hit the back of the net!
Agree4
Disagree3
Not for 2 years
Agree4

Remy or Bent would be good enough for me both score goals, personally I think that Kinnear is killing us and will force Pardew out (hope he doesn't as Pardew has been a good manager) we need to make a striker our top priority this summer as well as a defender.
Agree3
Disagree3
At least Bent is a proven goalscorer in the premiership
Agree2
Disagree3
Put it this way if we don't spend in the summer we will find ourselves in same predicament as last season, wouldn't mind us signing a better LM as jonas is past it for me now, I know we have Marveaux but he spends more time injured, Striker first then Defender and if Ashley is feeling kind get in a new LM for example maybe Scott Sinclair
Agree0
Disagree0
I'd take Remy, but let's face it. Under Ashley we're just a no ambition, nothing club. Two of the best strikers we could have signed, Bony and Aubameyang, and we didn't even submit bids for them.
Settling for trash like Darren Bent, when we were promised a top striker this summer. Joke. If we sign Bent and he proves me wrong, so be it, I'd be happy if that were to happen. But I doubt it.
Can't go bargain shopping forever. If you want a 20+ goal a season striker, you pay 20+ goal a season money.
Agree3
Disagree0
I'd take Remy, he looked good, but so did Carroll in his 1st 6 prem months.
still, rather him than Ameobi. Who also needs replacing.
If JFK has £15m to spend on a striker.
I'd add a few bob and spend it on 2. Remy & Rhodes or Austin.
May even get both for £15m.
Agree1
Disagree1
When we're we promised a top striker?

Pardew has been a good manager WTH! Pardew is an appalling manager living of the back of one good season.
He's been well and truly found out and now wants experienced journeymen payers to cover his awful tactics.
Agree2
Disagree2
Need to get remy sorted quickly because rumour going around is if sunderland are priced out of deal for altidore they will go for remy
Agree1
Disagree2
Remy is a money whore! Why else would he go to qpr? Why not try getting ba back?
Agree0
Disagree1
Pardew is a good manager who was the last manager to get us into Europe? Sir Bobby Robson (RIP) nobody else could do that we have had a season hit by injury to our key players, I must admit as well Adam Campbell is one for the future and hope to see him play more next season, as far as strikers are concerned we need one very soon and I hope whoever we do sign will score plenty of goals for us as we need it after last season.
Agree0
Disagree2
Most players and most people are money whores given the chance
Agree1
Disagree0
Right so all that lumping of the ball up as if terrified of the thing whilst having no injuries was good management?
Agree1
Disagree0
Yawn
12th, 5th, 16th. Every club gets injuries and if we are getting so many what on earth is Pardew doing in training because the players never look fit to me?
Also a consistently good manager doesn't nearly relegate 3 different teams, have 2 record losing streaks at 2 different clubs and destroy staff morale at Southampton.
Agree1
Disagree0
We are not getting Remy.
He is on 80k a week.
1. If we were going to pay him those wages we would have signed him in the last window.
2. If Remy was willing to play for less than what QPR are giving for him, again, he would have signed for us in the last window.
Forget about that one.
