I have been informed that Cheik Tiote is fully fit but his heart is set on forcing through a move to Chelsea for a fee in the region of 20million.
Also Pardew is a good friend of Sir Alex Ferguson and the pair spoke after the match last week about the possibility of signing Berbatov. Berbatov wants to remain at Man Utd but has been told he will be moved on in January. A move to Newcastle will be unlikely as Mike Ashley will not meet Berbatovs wage demands, he wants champs league football and his age is also a factor. Although negotiation is possible.
Lastly... Newcastle are set to fight off huge interest from Liverpool for Coloccini. Newcastle will break there wage cap in order to retain his services for another 4-5 years.
