Mirror's reporting that Lyon are willing to make a u turn on Gomis and accept the take it or leave it fee we offered for him, with personal details having already been agreed (reported to be approximately £45k per week)

French sources claim remy deal is just about done and the only thing holding up gomis is agents fee that was tweeted from Lyon chairman hope it's all true tho

That's a lie. Gomis himself told the French media all the personal terms were sorted and that the only thing holding up the deal was Lyon wanting us to pay a higher transfer fee.

Newcastle have now turned their attention to Mevlut Erdinc.
They are frustrated over the Gomis saga and believe they can get Erdinc for less.

Hope we are not after him again. His scoring record is about 1 goal every 4 games. Shola scores that many. Ideye looks a better bet.

I've heard from a mate that if Palace fail to get Chamakh on a season loan then we could go in for him. On paper this looks crap but you never know I suppose

No matter how you look at this, it is crap
On another note I don't know if anyone has seen the joey barton interview where he talks about the newcastle hierarchy, but its definitely worth a watch.
