Newcastle will not be signing anyone else until january as Hughton is happy with his squad and at start of transfer window he said he wanted to sign 5 players. Ben Arfa, Tiote, Cambpell, Perch and Gosling.
It's all over for toon transfers end of.
Also Newcastle spent so much time pursuing Ben Arfa they havn't had much time to talk to other players.

Athletico Madrid are launching a late bid to sign Jonas, as they have just sold Jurado in a deal worth 10 million which will help finance the move. This deal is all over the spanish press at the minute.

Hi ed have you got some Newcastle news this morning as all I have read is Steven Taylor is going to everton or Blackburn for 4to5m. I think he is worth a bit more around the 6m. {editor's note - personally I don't rate Taylor, but either way he is on the last few months of his contract so won't fetch much.}

just got from a good source that van wolfswinkel is in newcastle and due to have a medical earley in the morning, signing for £7 million, i think this will be a great signing as his a player with alot of pace and a great finish.
