Well what I have been told by my inside man is a 2.5m striker from Bolton Johan Elmander as he is out of contract in the summer. I've even no he is on his way to the northeast now (welshToon)

Ed why do you all seem to think that carroll to spurs is pretty much nailed on? and why would ashley want to sell him? i thought he was a money-grubber, seems like keeping carroll at the club would be good for him as it would increase the sell on value of the club not to mention the money we get from finishing in higher places . . just doesn't make sense {ed's note - because of how the sale of Rooney helped Everton. The money would enable you to strengthen a number of positions and remove a troubled presence from the team. Pardew believes the players he could get with the money would be more benefit than keeping Carroll. I think if Carroll had a more professional attitude off the pitch there would be no chance of him leaving, but his drinking and partying is not just going to attract trouble but also leaves him susceptible to injuries.}

There's big rumours that if the torres deal goes through us or bolton will get sturridge. Dont know if that's a good buy though coz players like him play for a contract same with lovenkrands and don't play for the club. whats your thoughts on this ED {ed's note - I wouldn't want him, he got greedy at City, expected a contract similar to first team players. I think he is lazy, greedy and not good enough. He is one of those players that could either have an epiphany and realise that he needs to buck up his ideas or more likely he will be like Carlton Cole and drift around top flight clubs doing nothing.}
