At least you are seeing what I an seeing
sat in Athens with 40 Greeks they want to know what happened to Newcastle United
the great club
Ashley should hang his head in she
The fun starts On Sunday

Agree0 Disagree0

Poor tonight -very poor final balls and no cutting edge up front
No chance of anybody coming in even tho Pardew says he needs someone now Taylor is injured!!
Get a different story every day from the club -sooner the window closes the better as it's getting tedious

Agree0 Disagree0

Sorry mate I don't agree. It wasn't brilliant but we're through to the group stage without going into extra time or really breaking sweat. Job done and that's all that was needed.

DomW

Agree0 Disagree0

Nah we did fine admittedly our finishing wasn't great but it was more that we we're creating chances that were well defended or we couldn't quite get on target anyway we won and did well what are you complaining about?

Agree0 Disagree0

Embarrassing? Are you serious? We controlled the game from start to finish without 7 of our best XI. I agree we need depth in the squad (obviously) but come on, we're through to the group stages, stop with the doom and gloom!

With De Jong goin to AC Milan, hope it doesn't mean City are gonna come sniffing after one od ours!

Believable4 Unbelievable8

Do you ever hear o neill say "we have got to keep our big hitters",do you ever hear moyes say "i wish it was the end ov the window"so why does pardew always leave the door open for bids,i cringe when i hear this , embarasing

So Carroll off to West Ham on loan. Another missed opportunity this window. We have a fantastic first team but what happens if people get injured? What happens if we lose Collocini or Ba/Cisse? Who comes in? So frustrated! We seem to have been the only team not to have strengthened. I'm praying they prove me wrong tomorrow, I really am.

Believable6 Unbelievable4

You've said it yourself really - do you think that £17m is a good price for a third choice striker? I don't.

If West Ham are willing to pay vast sums for a loan fee in the hope it keeps them in the premier league then so be it. They are in a different place than we are - one good player might make all the difference for them.

French media (BeIn) are reporting Tiote to Arsenal is done.

Believable2 Unbelievable13

Think about it - why would the French media have the inside track on a deal between 2 English clubs? Regurgitated speculation, nothing more.

DomW

Agree0 Disagree0

Tiote was at the match tonight.

Carroll on his way to WestHam (having medical for a season long loan), Debuchy on his way to Real Madrid and seemingly no movement by us in the transfer market. Appreciate weve kept our starmen so far but even so... Unless fat mike, silverfox pards and slimey lambias can pull off one, or two serious transfers before 11 oclock Friday, this transfer window has been woeful.

Before everyone starts calling Ashley for not improving the squad, lets wait until 11pm on friday night. Remember in January? Pardew said he didnt expect any dealings in the market? 2 days later we signed Papiss Cisse!! Lets just wait and see,who knows, deals maybe very close. If nothing happens, THEN lets slaughter the Fat Cockney B*****d!!
Clubs like Everton,Liverpool,Chelsea,QPR are signing decent players so the challenge will be harder and no doubt Ashley knows this. What should we do? Spend 14m on an average plodder like our unwashed friends? 12m on a pi55 head who turns up with hangovers for training? No lets wait and see.

Believable7 Unbelievable3

What a kn*b im a sunderland fan and it hasn't took you long to show what you really feel for mike ashley the guy has done amazing for newcastle as for our signings sounds like sour grapes fat sad gb

Agree1 Disagree0

And southampton , even wba got lukalu ? we sell two got nobody to replace them never mind ba or cisse when injured or off form

Agree0 Disagree0

Green eyed monster strikes again, I thought newcastle wanted andy carroll back, oh he would rather goto west ham, 3 out the door by 11pm friday, out europa league tonight, 150 million in debt, fluke league position last year, playing stoke football, only way is downward, ha,mike ashleys red and white army, dempsey next.

Agree0 Disagree0

I ain't waiting til 11pm tomorrow night before I start calling him, Pardew touting our best players, targets not brought in and no plan B

Agree0 Disagree0

Looks like a deal for Debuchy is dead in the water as far as we're concerned after Real Madrid have offered 9.5million. Plus if we wanted him that bad I'm sure we would have signed him by now. Shame because he looks a real tidy player!
The worst move we could make is if we let Ben Arfa go. He's been a class above any other player on the same pitch as him this season as well as last. I'm fearing a bid from Manchester United if they let Nani go.
1 player I do expect to see come through the doors on Friday at St James is Seydou Doumbia from CSKA Moscow. Reports in Russia claim a fee has been agreed of around 18 million and that Doumbia has been desperate for a move to the prem for the past 18 months.

Believable8 Unbelievable11

Hope thats right tidy player and Senegal play Ivory coast in a play off
so if we signed him we would still lose only two players to ACON

Agree0 Disagree0

No chance. Seydou Doumbia is far too expensive and will demand wages that we don't offer any more....

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed - according to Wiki he's 24 (born in 1987) - but maybe he got his passport from the same office Oba Martins did :)

Agree0 Disagree0

Hilarious!!

Agree0 Disagree0

I think and if we were to go for him a few champions league teams may try stepping in.

Agree0 Disagree0

Y o u are in the same boat as everton mate,u dont have 18 mill to spend.
Because you over performed last season Fat
Ash thinks u cant do it again without adding to squad.

Agree0 Disagree0

Would be great but Football Manager comes to mind when reading this rumour

spurs chairman off to marseille to sign remy, why are we not active, or just waiting for players not sold before friday to try and buy one get one free, last minute deal for players others dont want

Believable8 Unbelievable6

Its disgraceful. no ambition by our board

Agree0 Disagree0

I believe the dross that is left are hanging on for best wages Owen, Carrol etc. Then they have to take what they can get last minute
