So we've already seen one change in terms of mcclarens methods compared to pardew/carvers', is that mcclaren introduced ball work and possession (something we've been terrible at in the last few years) training straight away, whereas AP would only start ball work half way through pre season. says a lot imo.

Anyone else like to see Marveaux given another chance? Flair player, can put a good cross in can take free kicks and corners. Heard Alex Song going for around £5m and Cabaye £10m, why we aren't in for them I don't know. And shaqiri for £12m to stoke, we should be competing for him.

Totally agree JT, no brainer ha we should be after all of these players. Also Marveaux given a chance by SM will prove he is quality as long as he is not expected to play a defensive role to the detriment of a creative one as he was under AP.

we should be in for shaquiri, he is the love child of supermac and ginola. Exactly the type of player we should be signing not Florian Thauvin.
As for marveaux, everyone has to be given a chance as we have no other options. We need strength and power in midfield and attack, that is why Shaquiri would excite me so much. Most our players look like they would snap in 2 with a decent tackle
