Mehdi Abied's younger brother Walid is on trial at Newcastle, playing 45 mins against the mackems in an U21 game, apparently he was pretty good. Thoughts on getting another set of brothers in?

Moussa sissoko has signed a pre-contract to sign in January, I think Anita plays better full back and sissoko is better quality than perch. I hope sissoko is the first of a few signings in january. I'd like to see 2-4 players arrive. A CB, Full back, and a cover striker. Dawson? Gallas? Distin? Debuchy, who would give more support to HBA and I'd say as a cover striker, Eder or bent

I've seen this as well hope it's true it'd be good to get a new player through straight away, might encourage some more players to join or more action from us
The lad is a beast - but surely this would mean that Tiote is off in January?
It would be great to sign 4 players in jan,but not being doom nd gloom,i expect another transfer widow of dissapointment.
Mousa sissoko would be class in MF - but I think Tiote will be sold if that is the case. Also, there are rumours about Jérémy Toulalan from Malaga as he will be cheap, but he is 29ish so does not really fall in with the Toons current transfer policy, but he is also a beast in MF.
I would like to see a cheeky punt on Yann M'vila if Tiote is sold as I think he and Cabaye can boss the MF.

Reports today that mousa sissoko has agreed to sign a pre contract on jan 1st to join newcastle in the summer as his contract expires at tolouse!
Could be a great signing if true.
Its to join in January, to cover tiote whilst away at acon. Pre contract is in the process now.
Dont know about this one, We signed Anita and have Pearch, Does this show that we mabe off loading a player?? or have we simply given up on Anita who as yet hasnt really settled in??
Maybe they see Anita as a full back as he has played better there than when he has played midfield
I'd swap Cissokho for Cabaye and/or Tiote. Tiote is a constant yellow/red card liability while Cabaye's performances are becoming more anonymous each game.
It seems that Marveaux and Amalfitano have been put on 'back burners' (not good enough?) whilst Anita has yet to produce any decent level of performance this season which is worrying for his price tag.
We may have loads of midfield players but unfortunately hardly any are proving effective.
Agree Anita is a better full back. To lightweight for the middle of the park at the minute.
I can see Anita being used as a full back, maybe in place of Simpson or maybe he'll go on the left and Santon'll move to his prefered right side. I can see Sissoko being used as cover for Tiote whilst he's at ACON and as a general back up or he might be there incase we sell a player if we do hope it's Tiote because we don't have anyone who can properly replace Cabaye but if we did sell him I'd like us to sign Belhanda, he can play a pass like Cabaye and is just as skillful as Ben Arfa
Sissoko wont join until summer as he is contracted at toulouse until then. He can sign a pre contract with a club from 1st january but cant join until summer. A bit like Amalifrano last year
He won't be a free if he joins in january. We will have to pay for him if he joins then. If he joins in the summer then he will be a free
