i take ur point, but if he was unhappy then im sure it would be in the media, which its not. it certainly isn't a come and get me plea! and there league hasnt started yet so it doesn't make sense, hes obviously a big part of their plans! {ed's note - I would have said the same but this is solid info that his agent has asked Newcastle. Mind you don't admit how bad it is while you are there, best not to upset them when you are already in fear of your life!}

Former Celtic winger Aiden McGeady has told BBC Scotland he would encourage any player to embrace the opportunity to move to a foreign club.
The Republic of Ireland international switched to Spartak Moscow last summer for a record fee of about £9.5m and has now scored twice in 10 games.

ED do you think that Spartak will let Mcgeady leave on loan with permanent deal at end of season with the money they get if they stay in prem and maybe some sales of the likes of Smith, Lovenkrands, Perch and Routledge? {ed's note - McGeady wants to go, his agent approached Newcastle a while back, I thought it had fallen through because there seemed to be nothing happening. But apparently it is just waiting for Newcastle to get the money together, which I am led to believe would involve the sale of Carroll, if it is to go through in January. If not I can see him arriving in the summer. I will see if I can find out if a loan is possible or likely.}

Ed, is the danny sturridge rumour true. also do you think we will sign anyone {ed's note - you are still in talks over McGeady, he wants to move near home, he hates Russia and having to have armed guards with him everywhere he goes. Sturridge is a very real possibility, but you are waiting on Chelsea to complete a deal for Torres to release him.}

Not that this is a rumour or anything but for an interview in the journal Pardew says that he has submitted 2 bids for players and will wait to see if they are to be accepted. it also goes onto say how the two clubs (which are speculated to be A.V- Ireland and Bfc- Larsson) will wait until monday incase a higher offer comes in for either of these players. {ed's note - I did mention it a while ago but thought it had fallen through, but it seems that McGeady is back on the radar for Newcastle. Which is why I mentioned the other day about Carroll needing to be sold to raise cash, it is to get McGeady apparently.}
