A few places are reporting Newcastle have competed the signing of Curtis Good, the 6"2 Centre Back for $600,000.

I wish they could have made some sort of deal ie Best + cash for hoilet. that would have been a great signing.. {Ed002's Note - Hoilett was out of contract so there would not have been a player and cash changing hands.}
There is a fee as he is under 23 and been with the club for a set amount of years. If the clubs don't agree it goes to a tribunal.
And douglas, curtis good is gonna be one for maybe a bit more europa league and FA cup and carling cup
When does Xisco's contract run out ? He seems to always go out on loan, but nobody can afford his wages, can't we just release him ?

newcastle set to sign debuchy for 7.5 million
Lille chairman has comfirmed increased bid from Toon of 7.5m and admitted Debuchy wants out, but won't let him go unless they can get a decent replacement in and decent offers from clubs. Not a done deal yet.
What are people disagreeing for? even if the price is wrong, he will 99% sign.
Why dont we sell them danny simpson then?
How bout a Simpson + £4million deal.

ed, any news on the contracts offered to youngsters? they expire in a few days and if not signed that will be another 5 players out of the door. {Ed004's Note - Haven't heard any news}
James tavernier i believe is the only youngster left to have been offered a new contract
Tavernier seems big time to me,we have said he may play in europe and still does not sign,get him out.im sure real madrid,or sir alex will pounce !!!!
