Martin Olssen handed in a transfer request at Blackburn, promising leftback/leftwinger? worth a look if Debuchy doesn't come off?

Tried and failed to sign him last season... So possible interest, Pardew obviously likes him so he will most likely be aware of the situation, but not for me.
Think a right back is definitely his priority as he much prefers Santon on left hand side.
Hey Ed I heard Kevin Mirrales is looking for a move and his agent has been quoted as saying his release clause is under 10mil euros.. Any possible interest? also playing them tomorrow..
Mac Boy {Ed026's Note - I remember Newcastle and Everton were credited with an interest a while ago and CSKA Moscow had a bid of about £5m turned down, not sure if theres anything in it now but he would certainly fit the player profile.

Dont know much about this kid, but like all the bull Sh1t rumours surrounding us this summer I doubt it will be us. Honestly dont think we will see any of the top targets coming in. But hey we will have a cracking reserve squad. ps Hope i am wrong

It says on Sky Sports that he is holding talks with an unnamed club in London. This means that it is not Newcastle and most likely to be spurs as the are rummoured to be interested.

I actually think that it might be Man City.
Who will be signed by Chelsea to replace Drogba? They have already spent around £65 to £70 million already on Oscar, 2 X Hazards LOL Brothers & Marko Marin??
Any Suggestions?? I think HULK is a NO GO for Chelsea
Agree0
Disagree0
They already signed Drogba's replacment last season (Lukaku) but never gave him a chance.
Agree0
Disagree0
Likely to be Tottenham to replace Modric, who they will get like £35m, and bring him in for £15m so they make £20m and another good player

Anita deal progressing, debuchy deal proving difficult as we are 2 million away from what Lille are wanting, Liverpool have conceded defeat in Carroll situation and deal to bring him to tyneside to be completed by early nxt week!
Believable7
Unbelievable13
Hopethis doesn't happen. It will mean the end of football and back to lumping the ball up to AC and missing out the midfield which is one of the best in EPL

Carrol will not be coming back Newcastle only offered £8m at the end of a year long loan with a couple of million more in add ons depending on how many goals he scored and where newcastle finished in the league. Newcastle have dropped their interest in Anita and Debuchy will sign this weekend!

Have it on authority, NUFC targets this summer: De Jong, Remy, Boney, Huntelar, Doumbia in that order. Carroll not in their plans - but a cheeky bid went in for a loan deal. Ba's away.
Believable7
Unbelievable13
Huntelar is 28 so over are age limit plus he is on mega wages.

And de-jong is gone already ....

Also are you mike Ashley's right hand man if not shut up no one knows.

So AP was just messing around yesterday saying Newcastle were interested in Carroll. Like it or not as soon as LFC lower the price Carroll will be back.

BA will NOT leave

This was the summer transfer list. Carroll WASN'T in their plans and De Jong was first choice.
Agree0

If I was carrol I would be telling u all to f*** off, the owner sold him against his wishes(he never wanted to leave) albeit for a good price, and most of your fans have done nowt but slate the lad.
Agree0
Disagree0
Hope he does tell us to F off cos a large portion of us don't want him back. We are a better team for it.
Agree0
Disagree0
Well I would have him back ,so don't speak for me and I think you will find in recent polls it's 65% for from the fans.
Agree0
Disagree0
65% of who because I certainly haven't seen any pole?
65% of the readers of some blog? meaningless stat.
I think now we have all had some time to think on the majority of fans over 12 would not want him back - just a few bairns who can't remember Shearer playing and want their generations Geordie striker. The same bairns who think the horrid home kit is 'pure lush man' although the tat jagged black stripes and huge empty square on the back are horrid. Bring back the blue star and proper black and white stripes all the way around.
Agree0

There have been numerous pole over the last few days on various forums and it's always around 65% FOR. accept it or not ,many want him back. I'm 51 by the way and have seen many come and go at the Toon and like it or not the lad has talent.
Agree0

28?!.....well past his best then.....get real
Agree0

Like it or not and like it or not some more Carrol is over rated and in my view will never be rated in the wor jackie super mac or shearer category.
donkey maybe a bit harsh on donkeys
Agree0

"the lad has talent"....no doubt. But if we've got 15 - 20 million to spend on a striker, I reckon the money could be better spent elsewhere.
