I'd be surprised if we signed 1 or 2 of the mentioned names on here. Mike Ashley is playing his cards very close to his chest and being the gambling man he is I wouldn't be surprised if he is
Bluffing. Can see us losing barton, Nolan, Enrique. Why would he invest so much in revamping the squad now all of a sudden. Don't forget all the legal fees agent fees, insurance etc. That goes with signing a player. We will shed more high earners and bring in enough to keep us out of relegation.

Heard several rumours that Newcastle have had 'free-agent' scouts watching several games in Spain.

Oscar Wendt and Seb Larsson all but signed apparently?

Also, Lille apparently want 20m for Gervinho, and 15m for Sow.

Did De Guzman sign a 1 year contract when he signed for Mallorca because if not it's bad buissness by Toon as they could of signed him on a free in summer.

Taiwo won't be joining going to AC Milan so Jose Enrique won't be signed by them hopefully will stay although Liverpool and Bayern Munich still in picture and even Arsenal and Barcelona. Bendtner is being linked to us and Ashley Williams

i presume you are talking about back ups here, but we will only get a left back if enrique goes, perch will go also if we sign gervinho he will always start so will ben arfa so it will be

I come from Holland and believe me that van wolfswinkel is not premier leauge quality. Tolbomen is attacking midfielder.

Forlan is available for around 8-10 million, old but good and fallen out with manager at athletico. not a bad option, Looking at a lot of players from the dutch league Wijnaldum, Siem and Luuk de Jong, Dzsudzsak and Ron Vlaar being looked at, hopefully be as succesfull as Tiote. Also looking at young english players Bertrand, Landsbury, Graham, Gibbs, Phil Jones. . .what do we think people?

If our experience with Tiote is anything to go by the Dutch league is quality and usually the players can speak good english so they settle here quickly can't wait to see who we sign

There are very good players in the Dutch competition. Like bryan ruiz, theo janssen, wijnaldum, dudszack, toivonen. They need creativity in midfield and attack. No good strikers in Holland. They must sign Gervinho and Sow from Lille.
