Newcastle United are looking to bolster their team with some exciting young players rather than established stars.
Deals for Verthonghen, Douglas, Debuchy, Cissokho, Anita and more are all a diversionary tactic to whom Newcastle United will actually purchase.
Jack Butland, Patrick Van Aanholt, Konstantin Rausch, Steven Caulker, Nathaniel Clyne, Victor Wanyama, Yacinne Brahimi and M'baye Niang have all been earmarked as first choice youngsters the magpies would like to bring to the club using the £20-£25 million transfer kitty available to them.
Firstly though the toon will try to move on Danny Simpson, Mike Williamson, Fraser Forster and Leon Best before sealing any deals.
It promises to be a busy summer of recruiting for Alan Pardew.
Obviously it is not just a front for other players. fair enough they usually go for youthful player who aren't really heard off and low key but Debuchy has been given an offer and some say already accepted it
"diversionary tactic" ? If so how do you know about these do called targets?
Wanyama - apparantly Celtic want 7 million for a player they payed less than 1 million for a year ago... can't see that one
He has a crystal ball?
Why would we sign another keeper when we have 4 or 5 on the books at the moment?
To the comment about them wanting 7 mil, that's not alot to pay if he is going to live up to the hype, think about cabaye brought for 4-5 mil, and has sell on of 20-30 mil.
What's wrong with them wanting 7 mil for a player they paid less than 1 mil for. Prem clubs regularly do it
Ap hoping to keep simpson so where do ye get the impression he needs to be moved on
