sunderland fan lads i have heard that a. carrol will be on his way back to united if agreement can be sorted as liverpool are wanting demba ba as part of a deal which a.p is not keen on. if you dont agree i was the one who put on safc site about fletcher signing today and that johnson was in talks and will sign on monday. {Ed026's Note - Would find it highly unlikely that we would accept any offer which involved Ba going the other way. I totally agree ed but my sons mate works at sol and he told me about johnson not sure how he has got hold of this carrol story but i suppose players from all squads talk to each other. do you not think its funny how both players were left out last night because if either played then they would not be allowed to play in group stages. {Ed026's Note - I would guess that Ba has been rested for the Chelsea game although we've claimed he was injured. Any player can take part in the qualifying part of any European match and can move to another club and play from the in the UEFA or Euro Cup aswell.
The rule only comes into play if the player plays in any matches within the Group Stages and beyond.
