I really think aubameyang could add a new type of flair, danger and game changer to our team in the summer. He's meant to be 'the African neymar' and I've been looking him up, his record this season is great. He's strong, quick, tall, and clinical. 10m should be enough and hopefully we can fight off other interest. But I really can't see ashley going over to France just to 'watch! Aubameyang and sakho, there must of been some negotiations going on.

Carr seems unimpressed with Bony.
PEA has champions league teams chasing him who'll offer him double the wages we can.
I think Carroll will be the striker we sign I hope not but I can see it happening.
Your list has got short ricky has signed for Norwich on a 4 year deal :) happy happy happy what a signing Norwich have made very surprised though smashed the transfer recored by over double lol.
The rumours of cl clubs being interested in PEA are probably just paper talk made up to sell papers, if we could get Bony it'd be a great deal because he's a very good player if you think he's not your an person. Plus even if we don't get either of them there are still plenty of good players out there, e.g Siem de Jong who we've been linked with.
I think signing aubameyang would be amazing but one thing newcaslte have not got and have not had in a while is a real commanding STRIKER.
Ba was a good goal scorer but his overall play was very basic, the same with Cisse.
When Shearer was on Striker you could give him the back and he would use it to our advantage IE hold up the ball, take it to the corner, play a smart pass, turn and shoot and overall just be a beast Shearer was.
I want that striker that went close to goal you get that feeling in your stomach that the opposite team are worried.
This creates a diversion and opens up play so much more. At the moment we do not have this. When Arfa is playing you will see more or less 2 players in and around him at all times which again creates space for others. This is the new type of Striker we need. Strong, FAST, great finisher and a half decent dribbler, get that through the door and we then have a team to build around him.
At the moment we could build a team around TRUL, CABAYE, MBIWA, TAYLOR, BEN ARFA. MAYBE DEBUCHY / SANTON / SISSOKO, but all the other players are just squad players in my opinion. Cisse can be a great finisher but his overall play needs to improve.
