Pardew, kinnear and carr all in france tonight to negotiate a deal for 2 players from lyon. Newcastle have made a combined bid of 12.8 million for gomis and gourcuff. Lyon still need to sell to raise funds and gourcuff has stated previuosly that he is prepared to take a pay cut.

Cabaye will be sold to the highest but for at least 20 million preferably to psg which could involve a player plus cash deal with sakho coming in.

There's photos on Newsnow of them at Nice airport, supposedly on their way back to the UK. Question is, why Nice? Lyon has a big international airport. Who could we be after down on the Med? Or were they selling, not buying? Vic

Agree3 Disagree1

. or just enjoying an ice-cream on the Promenade des Anglais after a woeful Monday night humiliation in Manchester.
Do they sell defences there as well?

Agree0 Disagree0

Very good point. they could be selling

Agree3 Disagree0

You know Nice is right next Monaco

Agree3 Disagree0

More French bottlers?

Agree1 Disagree0

Very much doubt either Carr or pardew would be there if they were selling

Agree2 Disagree1

Or maybe the agents of Gomis and Gourcouff are based in Nice.

Agree0 Disagree1

Pardew, jk and carr must be on holiday to patch things up! its like couples retreat all over again must be using the money from the cabaye deal wisely!

Agree3 Disagree0

I heard that the Newcastle delegation went to Paris the Monaco to drum up interest from PSG and Monaco in Cabaye. They want a bidding war to get big money for him. Also trying to ressurect Gomis deal.

Arsenal launch double bid for Krul and Cabaye worth £25 Million expected to be finalised by weekend.

In coming Carlton Cole and loan bid for James Milner made

Believable4 Unbelievable12

Shefti kuqui must have turned us down then

Agree6 Disagree1

Fitz hall aswell apparently

Agree5 Disagree3

Absolute rubbish show us the proof of this rumour then! 25 million is enough for cabaye but not both!

Agree3 Disagree1

Can't see this happening when nufc want around 20 mil for cabs alone! Our two best players so would need more than that to replace them!

Agree2 Disagree0

Pillipe Albert and Les Ferdinand by the end of the week. come on boys get a grip

Agree0 Disagree0

So we're selling Krul for £5m? Ok, lol.

Agree0 Disagree4

I also heard it was double bid from Arsenal the fee was immediately knocked back - Cabaye and Krul share agent expect another bid by weekend - Newcastle looking at last minute Caesar on loan if Krul goes and have also offered Given a two year deal

Agree1 Disagree2

Krul and Cabaye do NOT have same agent, or not according to Transfermarkt.

Agree0 Disagree0

Mackem alert! Cabaye and Krul do not share an agent.

Cabaye off to PSG, looks like £18m will be the final price.

Believable2 Unbelievable2

Hope he goes 2 psg I'd hate 2 c him play 4 man u n as 4 arsenal he'd b playin 4 a side that's just not going to challenge 4 the title or cl then they insult us with a 10m bid jokers all they have done all summer is try n unsettle players from other clubs! Yesterday they lacked abit of class then 2 top it off cabaye lacked class by not playin

Cabaye will be sold for 22mil by the end of the week

Do not expect a replacement, as we have sissoko, tiote, anita and gosling who can play cm.

As nufc.com has reported, nufc officials are overseas concluding 2 deals.

Expect a striker (could be the third time we go in for gomis) and a winger. Suggestions welcome!

Believable1 Unbelievable5

Gomis and thauvin for me

Agree1 Disagree1

22M may be a tad optimistic

Agree2 Disagree0

Sissoko, Tiote, Anita and Gosling are not good enough. Not one of them is a playmaker, three can not pass a ball, two have no pace and one gets booked too often to be reliable.

Agree0 Disagree2

Carlton cole is the striker well he is free

Agree2 Disagree1

They are in Benidorm on a stag do mate

Agree2 Disagree0

If I'm being honest I could accept cabaye leaving if he really wanted to go, no point in having him here if he don't want to play for us. BUT the price would have to be right and the money would have to be reinvested. That's where the problem lies for me, I'm almost certain it will end up in ashleys back pocket.

Agree2 Disagree0

We need a replacement for cabaye. we have lost perch already in MF. I will not accept that they have been waiting to sell cabaye before signing anyone, what's happening to all that money they got in summer from TV deal

Agree0 Disagree0

What a load of tripe like everyone you look at your crystal ball
Of course Cabye is gone but no one knows the details

Agree1 Disagree1

"Sissoko, Tiote, Anita and Gosling are not good enough. Not one of them is a playmaker, three can not pass a ball, two have no pace and one gets booked too often to be reliable. "

Agree with some parts, not others. Sissoko is good enough if he's used properly, so is Anita. Tiote COULD be if he could regain some form, and if Pardew would make sure he sticks to what he's good at (tackling and passing it off simply. ).

Tiote and Anita also don't really need a lot of pace in their roles.

Gosling is dire and should be sold asap, and yeah, Tiote can't pass to save his life. Anita definitely can though.

heard some disturbing news that we are in for carlton cole, pardew wants to team up with him again and he fits with what he's looking for

Believable4 Unbelievable6

Don't think anyone will bite on that one

Agree2 Disagree2

Not a chance!

Thauvin and Gomis linked to Newcastle now. Officials in France. Cabaye a Goonerrrr?

Believable3 Unbelievable3

Linked with no one so stop posting crap cabaye will go the club has no ambition why should we by the new strips and pay 45 pound a ticket to watch a poor side on championship wages

Agree3 Disagree3

Nufc.com reporting that toon officials are abroad concluding 2 permanent deals, but we do not know who they are yet. I would probably guess Thauvin and Gomis, any other suggestions? Anyone else have any info?

Agree2 Disagree2

Be surprised if we went for Thauvin but can definitely see Gomis coming in now.

Cabaye will go, fair enough if he's had his head turned as long as we get £18-20M for him I'll take that. Good player but not irreplaceable.

Also, to the second poster, no one forces you to buy the strip or a ticket, if you're not happy, don't support the team.

Agree3 Disagree2

You can support the team, just boycott matches and merchandise in the short term. An empty ground for 2 matches would speak volumes

Agree2 Disagree0

You realise you don't have to be linked with players in the tabloids to be allowed to buy them right, second post?

And yes, we have been linked with both anyway, so do your research.

Agree0 Disagree1

Post above stop getting a hard on we ain't gona sign no one mabe Carlton cole or heskey or someone who's free mabe you who knows your probably the kid that thought we were gona sign Willian you deluded person

Agree1 Disagree2

They were at nice airport so looking at clubs in france then its either marseiile or montpellier players if was gomis I don't se why they wld be in nice, my moneys on a double deal for gignac and n'kolou from marseille who will then sign gomis as they wanted

Agree0 Disagree0

"Post above stop getting a hard on we ain't gona sign no one mabe Carlton cole or heskey or someone who's free mabe you who knows your probably the kid that thought we were gona sign Willian you deluded person"

I didn't say we were going to sign anyone. But just cause you didn't read it in the Daily Mail doesn't mean we can't sign someone.

But yeah, you know best. I guess Kinnear, Pardew and Carr are just in France for another holiday, right?

Agree1 Disagree0

The way this club has been run lately. It wouldn't surprise me in the least if they were out there on a beano. anyone for duty free?

Agree3 Disagree0

"The way this club has been run lately. It wouldn't surprise me in the least if they were out there on a beano. anyone for duty free?"

I heard they came back on the ferry in a Transit loaded with cheap red wine and tabs.

Agree3 Disagree0

About time the fat boy put his money where his mouth is and buy good players not some of the crap we have you can count on one hand the good players we have the rest are crap get rid and start building a team of good players who will do the club and the city proud.

PSG have bid £15m for Cabaye according top the papers. The bidding war starts now!

Believable3 Unbelievable3

If Yohan comes back with another team do not give the kebab a chilli response! RAW74

Agree3 Disagree6

After last night display I would expect Ben arfa to ask to leave because the rest of team are championship players at best. Mr mike Ashley u are a joke other teams spending bar us

Agree6 Disagree3

Pardew will be gone by end of September, Ashley already sounded out EX Brighton boss Poyet to become next in line for the job. Big bets have been put on by punters in London offices.

Agree4 Disagree3

Why are Newcastle only interested in strikers when the defence is utter rubbish and the mid is under par. could get van persie but would struggle with the service at the moment

Agree4 Disagree0

Really hope so can't take much more of pardew

Agree3 Disagree0

Poyet won't come he's in dispute with brighton remember curbishley?

Apparently we could be in for French (Surprise) winger Romain Allesandrini who plays for Rennes, he's 24 and got a decent track record, loves a long distance screamer aswell. scouts apparently checking him out in training and friendlies as he's recently recovered from a lengthy injury, valued at around 8 million

Believable0 Unbelievable5

This guy looks good to me. Great left foot, and scores afew as well.

But ass usual, don't hold your breath.
