Seeing rumours saying we're interested in Liverpool outcast Jay Spearing who's been a "revelation" during his season loan at Bolton playing as a CDM making 37 appearances and scoring 2 goals (more than Tiote in his NUFC career) and also winning the fan's player of the season award. At 24 with only 2 years left on his contract for Liverpool he seems to be ticking all of Ashley's boxes. Not sure what to make of this one, thoughts?

Bigi won young player of the season in the Championship last season, we don't need or want Spearing.
Bigi will be one of the premier league's best. I think he should be starting ahead of Tiote already, his range of passing is great and he will develop quickly with game time. Already one of my favourite players at the club because of his attitude
Yer little Big is defo in my book as a potential star.
He needs to learn the game more, develop his game more, but you can see it in him. From when he first walks out at the start of a game he looks focused on the job.
He only takes a card when he should do, e. g. team counters he jumps in to create time.
That goal he scored before Christmas (I think it was in Europa) was magic, if that was a little bit of things to come, he could have a very big career ahead of him
What more CDMs - DOES OUR CLUB NOT SEE WE NEED F'ING FORWARDS AND DEFENDERS (who can actually score and defend of course, not like the generation of players we have at the club now!)
