CSKA are the latest club to be linked with a move for Salomon Rondon, although the player himself has said that he is excited about what Malaga can achieve with new owners and also that the Spanish league is the best in the world.. looks like this one may be dead if it was ever a possibility

Believable8 Unbelievable3

Yeah blackburn looking at honda from cska probs need replacement..honda was class in world cup woulnt mind him here

Agree0 Disagree0

Honda is too good for Blackburn, I'm surprised they can afford him.

Agree0 Disagree0

Apparently only 7m

Agree0 Disagree0

Rondon is class and would be No 9. He'd stay longer than Carol anyway.

The chances of Erding moving from PSG to Newcastle have been dealt a double blow recently with PSG losing out on two forward targets, Dimitri Payet choosing Lille and Jeremy Menez reported to have snubbed them for a move to Marseille this week... Erding may well yet get first team football at PSG next season and if this is the case he will more than likely stay

Believable10 Unbelievable1

Will sign if agent/nufc want it to happen. both greedy gits .deal agreed with psg

Agree0 Disagree0

No mate the erding deal was dead weeks ago when he said he wanted to stay at psg, why would we want someone who doesnt want to play for the club?

Agree0 Disagree0

Llorente has a buy out clause of between 30 million and 50 million. Not gonna happen.

Agree0 Disagree0

Why do 6 people agree?

Agree0 Disagree0

The liars got six computers

Agree0 Disagree0

Barca and Real have been tracking Llorentes progress. There is no chance.

Agree0 Disagree0

Didn't think we were going for target men.
we need speedy strikers

Agree0 Disagree0

Bedtner going to QPR on season long loan, there had been talks with Newcastle however wages were thought to be to high Rangers have plenty cash but have pulled of a cracking loan as the player can stay in dame London home, source Wayne routledge.... He was talking to me in osbournes in jesmond earlier tonight, routledge going to either Swansea or forest

Believable10 Unbelievable15

Why would Routledge know when players of clubs don't find out until it's announced.

Agree0 Disagree0

Nearly completed mate Wayne came from and spent the latter of last season there on loan, a lot of good friends there, people talk to each other, it's not rocket science einstien

Agree0 Disagree0

It's also not rocket science to know this is bull

nzogbia to make statement on his future tomorrow source his been speaking to bramble and reported on one of there fans sites

Believable3 Unbelievable17

Yeh he will be going to villa both newcastle and sunderland have been put of buy the high asking price and nzogbias 60k plus wage demands and tbh as a newcastle fan it is more importanted to get a good striker than nzogbia and even if we do buy a midfielder id rather buy barnetter or marvin martin who are worth less with lower wage demands.

Agree0 Disagree0

Mcleish only gonna make one more signing reported interview on talksport but nzog is fav for them

Agree0 Disagree0

Villa the only club to bid for him, that was rejected so nufc and safc look likely to miss out on that deal, still though it weird why we bid 10m in jan but then nothing in this window Makes me think that january bid was at 11.30 pm on the last day of the window far to late doomed to fail and hoping to please the fans because at least we tried Well go on and buy him then if you were serious or was it a stunt mike

Agree0 Disagree0

I think it was serious he was trying to prove that he could bid for class players and at that point we could also afford his wages but tbh he is not a priority at all for nufc rather see a good striker and a reasonable midfielder than a stuipidly expensive we have seen we can do that with tiote ect.

Agree0 Disagree0

Good point but better than jonas

Agree0 Disagree0

I think Whealan is playing hard ball to price the lad out of any moves this summer - I think he sees the Zog as his best chance of staying clear of relegation and if you consider the money the club would make from another season of survival, compared with any potential loss on the player leaving as a free agent in 12 months it could be the best option fro Wigan

Jenas to return to St James Park heard it here first

Believable4 Unbelievable34

Most over rated ive seen in black and white, loves himself hated been at newcastle runs around abit cant pass tackle or shoot sounds like jordan henderson

Agree0 Disagree0

Surely not back to the goldfish bowl

Agree0 Disagree0

He might get the odd game for the reserves

Agree0 Disagree0

Only reason JEnas is in toon is to renew his stage door season ticket, Why would be buy another mid when all we hear from pardew is that toon are bidding for a striker(s)

Newcastle set on a loan deal for Daniel Strurridge and are leading the race to sign Bendtner for a believed fee of £10 million. The Newcastle strikeforce is potentially very strong for next season.

Believable13 Unbelievable23

I wish this was true

Agree0 Disagree0

So is the potential for this rumours being strong bullsh*t

Newcastle to make an offer for Bordeaux LB Benoit Tremoulinas when they sell Jose Enrique

Believable19 Unbelievable9

If he is french we will be interested

Agree0 Disagree0

I heard he was linked a while back he might be Jose's replacement

Agree0 Disagree0

19 Jul 2011 19:06:26
Is there any news on a possible left back replacement for Enrique ed ? I think that a swap deal for chamakh would suit both arsenal and us :D what do you reckon ed}?

{Ed042's Note - No news on replacement for Jose as yet, Bridge link dismissed, Taylor link dead, only other name I have heard mentioned that would be in any way believable right now would be Emerson of Lille, valued around 2.5 million but could merely be a name thrown into the hat due to our interest in other Lille players and the fact Jose is expected to go... I liked the look of Chamakh before he moved to Arsenal, and he done okay at first goal scoring wise, but the more I see of him the worse he looks, his all round game is very poor I think, watched Arsenal play Malaysia and he was the worst player on the park.. think we would be much better off asking for one of their current left backs and cash for Enrique, then use the cash to seal a good striker, or if that has significant money allocated to it already, buy really promising young prospects to back up our centre mid}

Believable9 Unbelievable5

Traore is back after season long loan at juventus should ask for him and 6-8 mil {Think that would be the way to go alright}

Agree0 Disagree0

Thanks ed :) I suppose your right about chamakh and his wages would be high :) just want to say I think that your doing a great job with this mate keep it going regards George :)

{Ed042's Note - Cheers George, appreciated}

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes great site but whenever I seen Chamakh last season he was good, Arsenal went off the boil when the dropped him for Bentdnar who is by far worse than Chamakh

Agree0 Disagree0

Didn't Chamack admit he found it a struggle settling in at Arsenal and would prefer a move back to the continent. I certaintly do not want him up here

Agree0 Disagree0

19 Jul 2011 18:21:14
ed any closer to knowing who will be next into nufc?

{Ed042's Note - Sorry mate, nothing of real substance, or you havnt heard rumour wise im sure, striker bid is sanctioned but anything after that is dependant on player sales.. as regards that, Reading have said that Long could go for around 7 million, Everton and Newcastle definitely interested but seeing as they have less money to play with than us it seems as though we could win out on that one if we made a real push}

Believable9 Unbelievable1

19 Jul 2011 17:14:34
Newcastle back in Bendtner hunt after his expected move to Hamburg has all but fallen through, Everton still enquiring about a loan deal but havnt cash to buy, which could favour the toon

Tranquillo Barnetta is another one that has come back up in connection with Newcastle this week, anybody know if theres much truth to it? one of the few rumours that isnt going away, and there was genuine interest a month or so ago

Believable8 Unbelievable8

We have too many midfielders now. In need of a class striker

Agree0 Disagree0

I think we were linked as a replacement for Barton. As Barton seems to be staying now doubt we'll go for Barnetta

Agree0 Disagree0

19 Jul 2011 17:03:55
Gary Hooper of Celtics name has again come up in connection with a move to tyneside

another one slips through the net eider gudjohnson signs for AEK on a free would have been ok at the toon

Believable2 Unbelievable33

Good he was past it years ago

Agree0 Disagree0

He's been terrible for like 3 seasons now.

Agree0 Disagree0

Why would we want this guy now? 5 years ago I would have been excited about the prospect but hes well past his best - over 30 and prob. demands a huge wage

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed are the 2 strikers we have bids in for Rondon and Long?
ive heard this from multiple sources.

{Ed042's Note - Nothing official to confirm but we have bid for Long twice with it being rejected in the past month, as far as Rondon, latest was Newcastle and Arsenal showing interest but no bid, Malaga said they would not stop him leaving if their valuation was matched, Arsenal have since cooled their interest in him so could be available and good chance of getting him if we offered around the 7 million mark}

Believable6 Unbelievable5

Do you suspect a bid will be made or is just speculation, also how good is this guy, how does he play?

{Ed042's Note - As I said mate, no solid bid has been confirmed by Malaga as yet, so would just be speculating myself to say we had, to be honest think he is one of the strikers we will swoop for if the main targets dont come off that we have bid for, namely Erdinc and Long... Pardew seems to really want Erdinc, pushing a lot harder than he did for other targets like Taylor and Zog, but his agent seems to be a bit of a nightmare so if we get back from America and theres no developments we could see a bid go in fairly quickly for Rondon.. In saying that Malaga have spent 37mil to date and have only got one striker which was Van Nistelrooy so maybe Rondon may want to stay now... very hard to tell where Newcastle stand on it lad, as you can tell by the players we did sign, no speculation beforehand... From what I have seen of him he looks a good young player, only 23, would compliment Ba well I think, more of a fox in the box type of forward, poacher, good movement and a decent goal record.. for 7 million I would take him above Erdinc any day}

Agree0 Disagree0

Thanks ed, £7million for Rondon seems like a very good deal, get it done Pardew

ive heard arca could be a surprise deal late in the window, also berbatov is eager to come on loan if the deal can be done. SAF might want someone going the other way though.... Krull??

Believable2 Unbelievable26

Why would they want Krul they have just signed De Gea and have Lindegaard as number 2 .

Agree0 Disagree0

Might want tiote instead lol

Agree0 Disagree0

Possibly Harris Vuckic, they have enquired before so could be used as a makeweight or maybe even ManU could be given first option I hope the latter, although Berbatov coming... I can dream

CrawleyMag

Agree0 Disagree0

Am I the only one who is yet to see this potential from Vukic? Some go on about him being the future of the club but I have to say I have no clue why

Leeds lot seem to think smith to Leeds deal is dead. Any thoughts? Sure you won't pay his wages for a year?? lol

Believable4 Unbelievable4

Have him free I will drive him down 60k a week and for what? He should do the decent thing and admit he's not premiership quality anymore, Leeds going home would be very fitting, I hope he ends up at Leeds good Luck

Agree0 Disagree0

Thanks, if it's wages well Bates won't even cough up for a Preston No.2 goalie let alone Mr Smith so as you say, he better swallow some pride and get his arse to ER. lol.

Agree0 Disagree0

Leeds seem to be offering Gradel around so send Smith and a couple of million.

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah I second that :) Controversial I know but you'd make an old git happy and give the eds a break from me asking for rumours about Smithy every five seconds ;)

Newcastle being linked again with Marvin Martin, PSG also in the running but he is good friends with Ben Arfa as the 2 played youth football together with montrouge.

Believable19 Unbelievable8

He is also quote as saying that he would like to stay in France though. He appears to be looking for a move to PSG.

Agree0 Disagree0

Hate to say it but he is on his way to better things than Newcastle.

Agree0 Disagree0

We wont be buying anyone our squad is to big (last week) and now we have two injuries already today pards says its too small.

Agree0 Disagree0

Phew.....for a minute there i thouight you said Marvin Morgan.......

19 Jul 2011 10:48:22
Toon to sign either Long and Ciise or Sturridge/wellbeck and Cisse.

Ciise wants away from Greece. So should be easy to complete.

Believable10 Unbelievable25

It'll be canny hard to complete I reckon since Cisse just signed for Roma.

Agree0 Disagree0

No he hasn't signed for roma, he's signed for Lazio, close enough though lol

Agree0 Disagree0

Haha 6 and two 3's. I knew I'd read he signed for an italian team yesterday lol.

Agree0 Disagree0

Cisse has left Greece.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ba, Sturridge and Long would be good enough for me.

Agree0 Disagree0

I think ciise has gone to lazio in italy

Enrique to Liverpool 11.5mil

Believable24 Unbelievable17

He's got his heart set on Barca and champions league football, i think liverpool would be the wrong choice for him and us

Agree0 Disagree0

If he's going FFS JFDI, this is dragging on to an annoying extent. We'll end up getting top buck on 31 August and going into the season with no Left Back like when Czrroll was sold last minute. SteveToon

Why oh why have bids not been placed for the likes of carlton cole, kenwyne jones, and cameron jerome. Not expensive, and would score goals.

Believable1 Unbelievable34

Because we arent the dirty mackems?

I'm sure theres more mackems posting on here than geordies these days.

Agree0 Disagree0

'cos they're all s**t

ToonBarmy

Agree0 Disagree0

Because they are all sh*te and not premier league quality.

Agree0 Disagree0

Seriously, whats the point in screening every post if you just let the mackems on anyway?

{Ed042's Note - Because when it isnt just abuse, its good banter... and to chip in on the players mentioned... Jerome, if he was for 2 mil tops and a back up option at best then maybe.. Carlton Cole, no chance, i`m a better player ffs.. and Kenwyne Jones, actually think hes an alright player, but again, as back up for Ba, not first team}

Agree0 Disagree0

Im a Sunderland fan, and believe me you dont want Jones, he plays in fits and starts, granted can score a few goals, but he is the lasiest player in the EPL, if he was any more laid back he would be flat

Agree0 Disagree0

I love the fact that all the SMB spend all day on our site. i can honestly say that i've never even glanced at their page. Question. Do they even have one as I've never even checked that and don't plan to?

Agree0 Disagree0

Another mackem having a dig - face it we have and always will have a better history of centre forwards at the toon nobody ever mentions the number nice red and white shirt because everyone knows your second best and always will be in the north east

Agree0 Disagree0

Thats all you can refer to History it must be true because you all live in the past.

Agree0 Disagree0

Cos they are crap and don't score goals?

reading some posts on here people saying our squad is stronger now, weve lost nolan cambell carroll and brought 4 lads in with 4 months premier league experience between them.we have 1 left back whos probably going leave this window.lacking quality up front carroll was superb for us aug -dec his and nolans goals guaranteeing safety.overall last season we were weak up front, ok at the back but no cover for jose. midfield was by far our strongest department.weve just signed 3 midfielders and ba who played left wing last year.the forwards we have left are back up players at best and would be sold if any decent offer came in.
so our new midfielders will have there work cut not only to create goals for best/ba etc.but to score the amount goals from midfield nolan did

Believable9 Unbelievable15

Ba has proved he can score in Prem, and I do believe or midfield is stronger now than last season with Ben Arfa back, Cabaye (great passer), and Marveaux as great back-up/possibly starter. Hopefully Sturridge on loan to play off Ba (take Nolans role).

Agree0 Disagree0

If you want to post NUFC rumours you're in the right place. For the kind of frantic breast beating you're going through I would suggest Beachy Head. SteveToon

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree we r stronger we lost nolan ok he scored a few but hes not getting younger he couldnt run now so i think we exceeded expections in recruitin midfielders and beeny and gos bk much stronger. as for Carroll i dont care bout tha Judas girl beating ball bag best off gettin rid. so we added ba whos proven goalscorer in prem so beit witha relegated side but just 1 mo striker (HopingSturridge) and some defensive cover and we much stronger (WelshToon)

Agree0 Disagree0

What has Carroll done since he left? Pretty much nothing, You cannot miss what has not been available to play with injuries and court cases. Sol Campbell will not be missed. Nolan has been replaced by box to box midfielders who cover my ground with better pace. Ba will score more goals than Carroll next season i guarantee. Midfield was not our strongest department either, Maybe you missed us having to play Guthrie towards the end of last season and actually so dry off back up could have done with Routledge back from loan because we had to play Ryan taylor and youngsters in midfield. Know your team.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ba has proven himself to be capable of scoring goals consistently, staying fit might be another thing, so i would say buy 1 more striker, maybe long from reading, he may not have much premier league experience but neither did carroll or even best, and long looks more mobile than carroll and a better goal scorer than best. as for goals from the midfield, ben arfa found the net in his first full premier league game, barton, anyone remember the goal against villa, marveaux and cabaye both have very good free kicks, cabaye also likes to make runs from deep, almost lampard like, and he's got a good finish when he gets in the box. hell even gutierez can pop up with a couple of goals, and there's no telling what abeid can do. if you ask me we're stronger than we ever were.(since shearer oviously)
