Man City has set a price tag of £7 million on John Guidetti and Sunderland is in for him. I believe he would be a great addition for us and I think John would rather join us which would give him enough games with Europa League and everything.

Believable4 Unbelievable4

We may be in Europe but Guidetti would be first choice for that lot. They can't rely on Saha, Campbell, Ji or Wickham.

what happened to marvauex yesterday has was supposed to be playing but went missing

Believable4 Unbelievable9

Heard from one of the stewards who mans the gate where the players enter/exit that he left the stadium when he wasn't in the 18 man squad, then shola got injured so effectively he would've been on bench.

Agree0 Disagree0

If thats the case then discard the huffy b******, he wants to remember we paid his wages while he lay around in the treatment room all last season!!!!!

Agree0 Disagree0

You can't have it both ways. he's finally got fit, was terrific in pre season wants to play and not just sit around picking up wages

Agree0 Disagree0

It might be that he would like to play, so does the rest of the team and i would like to get his pay as well, that aint gonna happen, but i aint going AWOL from work over it. He should be proffesionel and do what is asked for the money he earns, if the bench is where he is needed to bench is where he should be. If it dosnt suit him, he can ask for a transfer and we will see who comes in for him.

Tiote going to Old Trafford and Cabaye considering Arsenal - over to you Mr Carr for some replacements !

Believable5 Unbelievable20

Arsenal on their way down need a defensive mf not cabaye....and where would tiote fit in Man Utd team with kawagwe carrick fletcher Anderson cleverly scholes and giggs...think before you post rumours SMB

Agree0 Disagree0

Dont believe everything you read in the papers! There all southern based and cant stand the north east doing well

Agree0 Disagree0

Tripe. Neither would play mire than 20 games

Agree0 Disagree0

If anything wouldn't arsenal want tiote to replace song and man utd want cabaye to create chances for vp and Rooney? Anyway nothing in it.

Agree0 Disagree0

Utter b*******.

Agree0 Disagree0

Only Chelsea could afford Tiote. (At the right price because we have Anita)

Man Utd and Arsenal could not afford the price for us to sell Cabaye.

A great result today, Ben Arfa was excellent. Please Mike Ashley we have a great team spirit and some excellent players who clearly want to play for the club get your cheque book and and buy another striker and centre back before transfer window. Much as I would like Debuchy I think in the short term we can cover in most games the right back position but cb and striker we need quality cover. Ideally I would like Remy and M'bia. Debuchy would be a bonus. We have only spent net about 3.5million another 25mil could get the three quality players we need. I heard somewhere that whoever finishes bottom of the league this season gets more Sky money than Man City did for winning league. Apart from the two manchester clubs 3rd and 4th could be between Chelski, Spurs and us. Arsenal wlll the last one to leave can turn the lights out, Liverpool not this season, Everton will be thereabouts. This could be a great opportunity for this club if Ashley backs the team and manager.

Sunderland fan here come in peace, good results for both sides tday, only thing wot let it down was pardew being a person

Agree0 Disagree0

Give your bumps a rub talking about top finishes
Yes we son but only just & could have Been 3-0 down at hall time
No wonder Southerners think we are a load of nutters

Agree0 Disagree0

Ok it was a little silly what he done but I personally prefer to see passion in the manager.

Agree0 Disagree0

Pardew?? Get over it a little push on the shoulder. Hardly decked him did he?? What is more alarming is how the linesman never seen it was 3 yards out of play.

Agree0 Disagree0

He has backed the manager all the way MA policies are spot on and the rest of the premiership are now starting to take notice

Agree0 Disagree0

Douglas dubuchy and any striker better than emile heskey and we will have a great season

There was a few dodgy calls yesterday where the ball went out early season mistakes. We won that's all that matters. I think we might make some late charges in the window try and finalise debuchy as Simpson was too much a liability yesterday in my opinion gave the ball away was good attacking but doesn't track back quick enough. Early yellow didn't help the cause.

Heard we are trying to get a big name in before the close of play but general rumours no name mentioned. Pieters was at the stadium but a guest of kruls apparently had I known when I met krul after the game rather than after I met him I could have asked the question.

Pardew will probably be cautioned wasn't really a big deal. Will be similar to complaining of refs where you are warned/fined then touch line ban if it continues.

Original poster.

I agree simpson is a liability and a poor passer, he was 15-20 yards off Lennon whn he could the ball before crossing. However if we are to only get one more player before transfer window I would like a striker. Much as I would love to see Debuchy play for us we have reasonable cover at fullback i.e perchino, Taylor (R) Tav but Shoala is to slow/lacks movement in the chanels and can't last a game, at best ideal last 10-15 minutes to hold up the play. Sammy and Vuic will gain further experience but need atleast another season and Campbell is an exciting prospect for the future but great experience can be gained by being with the squad. Goals ultimately win games and teams might in some games suss ba and Cissee out so another striker could offer a different option.

Agree0 Disagree0

Enough with the Simmo bashing ,remember he was in the top 3 rb listed last season.
