2 out and out goalscorers is more than enough in a 4-3-3, shown by Ba's 2nd half of the season performance. Why we're signing strikers as anything other than ACoN back ups is beyond me, that being said De Jong looks a good prospect with a good 1st team goal tally under his belt.

We need another striker even if BA stays as we need to be able to rotate the squad alot more with all the extra games

if blanc gets spurs job he could be looking at cabaye and ben arfa to join him there to replace modric and arron lennon who coould be on their way out

That's not a rumour, that's guess work as you've managed to connect the dots, i.e. they're French. I heard he's talking to Cantona, Viera, Zidan, Henry and Petit to come and play for them too. What rubbish!

You have the great Charlie Adam that cost 10MIL and the amazing Jordan Henderson that cost 20MIL and you can keep looking at the wages ur spending on these two worthless signings for a combined cost of 30MIL and we will keep Cabaye that cost us 4.5MIL (Well Technically cost liverfool because it was your money we was using) and is worth every penny he is being paid. For a start Charlie Adam didn't cost 10 mill so that is an incorrect statement. However I do agree with the poster who says that Liverpool have done nothing to improve Adam since he went there ,after all he has proved himself a rated premiership midfielder even with a struggling club like Blackpool. I don't understand the logic of tracking a player, signing him and then playing him in a completely different role. In my opinion Charlie is not suited to being a little fish in a big pond, he would be better getting himself to somewhere like SAY

ed, are Newcastle interested In Theo Walcott? seems he wants to leave Arsenal. young and underrated player. {Ed026's Note - I'm not aware of any interest but he doesn't fit the re-sale bill in my opinion, wages could potentially be an issue as well.

He's just a faster Obertan, we need some end product not more pace and dribbling.

I would love Walcott nufc would get the best out of him he would be awesome.Yeah he is pace pace pace but so is agbonlahor,lennon and he is better than them he would Have us on the edge of our seats.

Ed any interest in Moussa Sissoko of Tolouse, I know we've scouted them before with a failed bid for M'bengue. According to Sissoko agent he is ready for a move {Ed026's Note - I've seen Sissoko is a target for Inter and Roma but not Newcastle at the moment. I believe he's priced at 10m euros so not beyond the realms of possibility.
