The rumour about m'bia is from back in 2009 when joe kinnear was manager, whoever started this rumour failed to readthe post fully, the heading says january 2012 but the article says jan 2009

This isn't even reported on Twitter...which has all dodgy rumours. Therefore I highly doubt this is true. It would be reported on SSN, Twitter, TalkSport etc etc. However there is no sign of it whatsoever

Why would Boudebouz arriving mean the end of tiote? boudebouz is a winger. Tiote is a central midfielder. Completely different styles of players.

No deal is to be done regarding Ba this window, dont even contemplate it, im told that Cisse only came in the first place to play alongside him. . . Just look forward to seeing him bang in a few more goals and worry about him leaving in the summer because the quote i got said; "The situation with Ba? Well there aint no situation at this possible time, no deal is to be done and even if an offer over his supposed release clause im almost 100% sure that he would turn it down, he is happy here and wishes to create one of the premier leages most frightening strike forces with Cisse" got it this morning from an anonymous representative of Ba. . dont know what he meant by supposed and other than harry shouting his mouth off i aint heard anything else about it so it could just be him talking bull. . which is a smart strategy considering he wants to bring in a new striker himself and i aint heard anything from the tottenham camp about then even considering a move for Ba. . so hope that clears up everyones worries, it made me feel alot better

Nufc.com reporting that Demba Ba's release clause can only be activated in the summer. If this is true surely Newcastle must offer him an improved contract when he returns from ACON without the release clause. Do you know anything about this Ed?? {Ed001's Note - I don't have any info at all on the release clause, it is all speculation from the media.}

If there was a realease clause surely someone would already have being in for him, because as soon as the games start there is no way he is coming back for a medical.

It's very complicated with him being away. with cisse he flew in and out on the same day. With Ba, the medical will be much more thorough and there seems to be "insurance" thing that is being talked about. I supppose it's easy to get insurance when there is no transfer fee involved. finding an insurance company to insure Ba for a £10m fee and accept his knee doesn't pose a great risk would be very hard. such a deal is complicated and would need more time than would be allowed by the Senegal FA. This will be interesting in the summer.

Just heard that we are focusing on a cb, a fella called rhys williams, supposedly to be done within the next 7 days, can honestly say i've never heard of him, also im told that we aint signing anyone else just a different possible loan move if this williams deal breaks down

Think it could be possible, doesnt seem like a big name, surely Pardew will be looking at a cover CB incase Williamson or Coloccini drop out, dont think he will be looking for someone better. But who knows, after today anything is possible

Yea he seems canny enough, seen a few clips of him there now like, Im worried about the cost though, as an international player and being only 23 boro will demand around the 5m mark, im told the offer thats going to be sent either tomorrow or the day after will be around 3.5m with add ons after a certain number of games... all im told on this deal. . hope it goes through like
