Strong Rumours that Bendtner will sign after the game today, He will be joined by Pieters who has a 7m euros release fee and is keen to join.

Believable11 Unbelievable7

Need someone up front Shola was awful Loven hopeless Best was the best of a ba d bunch, Good point today on reflection but we played far to narrow dont know whether or not Jonas was an addional left back but he was nowhere as a forward. Stll a lot of promise with Obertans and Cabaye.

Agree0 Disagree0

Why are we interested in another big centre forward. We badly need pace upfront. Ba and a pacy, skilful striker would be a good pairing. Ashley - SPEND SOME MONEY

Agree0 Disagree0

We had no offence today and we need at least two more players up front and one LD. Not Bendtner who sucks big time.

Agree0 Disagree0

Agreed we need a quick man up front , the lads had enough of the ball just couldnt crack the last line, strolla was playing quite well at times i though and his defensive pressure was up there as well, but Ba and Strolla doesnt look very comfortable to me.. Ober was very good(and bloody quick) and should start against the Scum and if we have no striker by then then I would go with Best and Sroller or Ba. just a thought

SAGEORDIE OUT

Agree0 Disagree0

Haha, I think after what went on today Wenger might block our move for bentner out of spite. which might be a bonus for us in the long run as i dont think he is the answer. we need to regain what we had with carrol, a big center forward good in the air and can hold the ball up, any ideas? on a positive note from what little i saw of today obertan and cabaye played well together.

Agree0 Disagree0

Players for defense and forward line needed quickly or could be struggling before we get started. Pards says/hints two big signings close muppet

Agree0 Disagree0

Ba was dreadful.

Agree0 Disagree0

Stronger rumour that Bendner wants to join Larrson at Sunderland.

Agree0 Disagree0

An excellent point considering the performance today. Ba was terrible, weak as piss for a big lad. Can't win a header for toffee. Shola had some nice touches, but no end product and also looked goosed after any form if physical exertion. Best at least looked interested. Simpson is a liabillity. Throwing himself ridiculously into tackles on the half way line, failing miserably & leaving us exposed at the back. Joey Bartons Dead ball delivery was a joke. Corner after corner wasted. The only good points of the day were Obertan, who adds some much needed pace and vision, Colo was rock solid at the back. A true captains performance, and the point itself.

Agree0 Disagree0

We need yannick djalo fast he can finnish and a striker. anyway dont forget ben arfa he is creative and can help ba and ameobi

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree we defo need yannick djalo

ed is it true that we have accepted a 5m bid for Colo from Valencia? Valencia re saying it is on their side

{Ed042's Note - Story came from ItaSportPress, was picked up by a couple of blog sites, no confirmed offer, Valencia have major financial problems at the moment}

Newcastle have bid 5.5 Million for Lyon's leftback A Aly Cissokho. Source SSN

Believable7 Unbelievable23

Aye the times said as well this morning. If it happens, I think it will be a brilliant bit of business, if its only 5.5m.

Say what you want about the heirarchy, but we have had some terrific deals

Agree0 Disagree0

This guy is good, but is there first choice left back and is FRENCH i dont think we will sign him £5.5m very good deal but is is worth £8m

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes i 100% agree the guy he is too good, and £8m is about right arsenal wanted him to. he maybe young but the wages would be high for him, are lyon not in the champions league? why would he leave them for us?

{Ed042's Note - Cant confirm if theres any substance to it yet but the reason he is up for grabs is because since all the Liverpool interest apparently the fans and players have turned on him, plus he has a rumoured spinal problem which makes him a risk, hence the cut price fee of 5.5m}

Coloccini will be sold to valencia before the end of the transfer window. If valencia come in with a 10 million pound offer ashlley will never turn down.

Sad to say but he will leave

Believable7 Unbelievable31

Supposidly newcastle have accepted a 5m bid for him from valencia, reported on their side, the deal might have add ons in it

Agree0 Disagree0

Don't make me laugh, Valencia are in so much debt they couldn't even afford to match his wages, they have to sell A LOT before they can buy.

Agree0 Disagree0

Bollocks

Agree0 Disagree0

Never say never with cashley. If he does go it will be relegation as now class cover at back.

Agree0 Disagree0

He wont be here next season hes on 85k aweek and has 2 years left on his contract.fat mike wont offer him that he will be able to sign 4/5 french lads for 85k a week

PSV coach Fred Rutten gave the green light Erik Pieters, will join Newcastle for an agreement of 6 million pounds.

Believable32 Unbelievable7

I'd be delighted to see him join the Toon. We are building an exciting young team. The only concern is that bit of experience we look to be short of when Barton joins Nolan out the door. SteveToon

Agree0 Disagree0

Agree with ya mate but he should have been in long before enrqiue was sold

Agree0 Disagree0

Coloccini too, to Valencia.
We have no one with any prem experience left.

Agree0 Disagree0

Pieters would be a great signing, however it appears that we have also bid 5.5 million for Aly Cissokho (according to the Times). I guess it's a case of whoever bites first as there is no way Ashley would sign both of them.

Agree0 Disagree0

Seems though he said yesterday he is not interested in coming to newcastle and then your fans started saying he was crap

{Ed042's Note - Its funny how when you slag someone off its "your fans" yet when asking about Coloccini bid its "we have accepted".. mackem? mackem with secret desire to be a toon?}

Agree0 Disagree0

What a pathetic ed you are, you not supposed to be saying who has made other comments. I did pretned as to see what your info was on it and coz I couldn't be bothered with your fans being prats, I'd rather support middlesbrough than that black n white sh*te you call a team, which is getting dismantled all the time haha, Relegation battle ed enjoy SGBS

{Ed042's Note - listen mate we dont mind rival fans giving stick and having banter with opposing sites but we do ask people to be genuine about their affiliation, fairly simple request.. its either a warning or a ban for continuously doing it, which you do, and I dont want to ban anyone off the site to be honest mate, thought a simple comment on it was more appropriate.. as for relegation? dont talk daft lad, wouldnt even entertain it with a comeback}

Agree0 Disagree0

Tell that to your fans like they do the same thing quite often on our site. works both ways. You don't need to entertain it because you know it's a possibility if your new lads don't gel and you keep selling the heart of your team. Your just too proud to admit it, bless ya ed m8.

{Ed042's Note - True it does mate and they should be warned and probably have been, as I said mate just wanted to comment rather than ban, when you stick to being a loyal mackem and talk football you actually post some decent stuff the odd time.. this last post not included ha to say we are due for relegation because only suggests you dont know anything about our players and sound hypocritical in saying if the players dont gel seeing as the mackems have bought ten players this summer, the majority of which will go into your first team.. saying Newcastle are due for relegation is daft, as daft as if I said the mackems are due for it, mid table obscurity for both lad, guaranteed.. I just hope your manager and team underestimate us as much come 2nd week of the season, will be in for some hiding if they do}

Agree0 Disagree0

Don't think that will happen again, when we lost 5-1 you had stronger players and alot of ours didn't turn up, Bruce will give you the respect and he will have our lads fired up for it. I'm sure everyone else will agree that we all buzzen that the Premiership is back on Lets have it

Agree0 Disagree0

Is there where some random person pops in on the conversation and says:

We have lost three players, 2 good ones, but we've strengthen all those in time for our derby, plus more.
I don't care if you overestimate us even, we'll still give a good hidin.

Erik Pieters seems all set to join Newcastle as his manager has been quoted saying ' I would lie in the road to stop him leaving But I fear I cannot block his transfer to Newcastle'

PSV boss Fred Rutten .

Believable35 Unbelievable6

First non piece of bull***t ive heard of today

Agree0 Disagree0

Where did that quote get printed, its certainly not on the clubs website, and yesterday the player himself said his mind wasnt on moving atm.

the quote was in the daily mail. Erik Pieters joining Newcastle

Agree0 Disagree0

Right this is how we should know its bull he has a 7m cluase in his contract and psv manager has sed he dosent want to see him leave so highly doubt they would let him go for 6m

Agree0 Disagree0

Cheers for the link it, good news then, lets hope it doesnt come unstuck when they look to agree personal terms. and hopefully hes signed and ready to go against sunderland.

Agree0 Disagree0

And how do you know he has a £7m release clause? are you his agent?

Agree0 Disagree0

You don't have to match the players buy out clause to get them, person psv can accept whatever they want the buy out clause just means the club have to sell if that offer comes in.

Agree0 Disagree0

Release clauses simply make the selling club powerless. Any club can still offer less but then the selling club can reject it. Now PSV aren't swimming in cash and Pieters would get a huge increase in wages and exposure for the national team by joining Newcastle (and his mate Krul) so he's certainly interested.

Agree0 Disagree0

And you are rolling in cash? Catch up young'un you lot are a joke

Agree0 Disagree0

Release clause is 7m euros...about £6m
