according to a website Newcastle are interested in Inter Milan midfielder Joel Obi.
Looks like quite a good player and is only 22. Good left foot. Would be an improvement on Anita. Will probs play in World Cup so if he is good we need to get him before it starts as everyone will be after him if he does well.

According to Talksport we are in prime position to sign Lassoga from Hertha Berlin. About £8m although he only has 1 year left on his contract which will mean Ashley offering £1m instead and losing out as he goes somewhere else for £4m.
Sorry to be negative again but it would not be the first time.
Just like Sissoko and Gourffan who would of been free 6 months later, but paid like £2m each. So I think we can get him for £5m
Not convinced from what I've seen of him so far but is still a good age.
