Does anyone know what number Adam Campbell wore today?
Believable1
Unbelievable10
No 49, showed great movement in the 7ish minutes he played, made a great chance for amil and should have had a penalty. Looks good for the future.

49 I think.
Agree0

Just gonna take a guess that it was the number 52 considering that's his squad number?

Newcastle Utd are NOT the Premiership club to have a bid accepted for Loic Remy, its Tottenham. Tottenham have decided to move in for him after they were priced out of a move for Leandro Damiao.
Anita looks either Newcastle or Milan bound after rejecting their new contract offer.
Expect Newcaslte to try and get a good striker on the cheap but if that fails they will move for Andy Carroll very late in the window.

Anita wants to play in England so i think that gives us the Edge.

Tottenham ended interest in Remy a while ago. either this rumour isn't true or Newcastle have had the offer accepted

S...t hit the fan and how anyone in football can't see that the teams we are putting out are void of ideas and skill it is beyond me.
Our pre season form has been pathetic and today just proved it
This team despite all the accolades and shouting how good we are will be struggling from the off which is next week Ashley if you have not noticed
Believable6
Unbelievable11
So how do u reckon last pre-season was? Way, way better right?
Riiiiight....
Agree1

You obviously have not been to any pre season games
Well reality will strike next week
Agree0

Last season pre season was hopeless just like this one diference is Luck was with us
when we Kicked Off
Can't wait for the Spurs game & Ashley
wakeing up
We need players NOW
Agree0
Disagree0
people like you need too hav a word with yaself, nufc is the most stable and hav the best squad they have had in a very very long time, add 2 players too wot we hav n thats one ov the best squads in the pl,not many signings at any club at the min so dont panic!
Agree0
Disagree0
It's pre-season. It's about fitness, not great football.
How can you expect anyone to play great football and give every member in the squad gametime?
The season starts next weekend and we'll have our best players back playing regularly but we still have to use our squad. That's our challenge this season.
Agree0
Disagree0
I agree. we need players in fast or we will be lucky to finish top 8th next season FACT
Agree0
Disagree0
I have to say i am dissapointed we conceded 4 goals when what is supposed to be our strongest back 4 was put out.
If the intent was to play offkey so as to not give any tactics away before the season then it certainly worked.
Agree0
Disagree0
People like me that people like you believe all the hype churned out
We knew we needed players last January and as for the best squad in th pl get herself back to fantasy football because you have no idea about reality football
If we get a couple of defenders in yes we have a chance without them we will fall by the wayside
Agree0
Disagree0
Are you for real? It's pretty much the same squad as last season when we finished 5th!
Fair enough it's obvious we need to strengthen the side but it's the same starting 11 that bonded over the last 15 months or so.
So because man city haven't signed anyone and lost a pre season game to Oldham they aren't going to finish top 8 are they?
Get real and support the team! Pre season means nothing hell we lost 6-1 to leyton orient and went on to win the championship. Judge our performances on competitive matches.
Agree0
Disagree0
Last seasons pre season was no better and we know what happened then. Have some positivity the season has not started and you are b!tch!ng aleady
Agree0
Disagree0
At the end of the day, pre-season is used to get fitness levels up. its about getting game time for the fringe players and finding the right balance within the squad. the result means f all, its all about honing fitness...

So, Ashley is ready to buy a share in rangers and part of the deal includes the loan of up to 9 players. Who do you think they could be? Personally I don't think We will loan 9 as we need a big squad to cover for Europa league and only have a small squad anyway. Your thoughts ed? Source bbc. {Ed007's Note - Complete and utter BS. It would break rule 123.2.5 of the SFL Rules and Regulations regarding the amount of loan players a club is allowed. What do you honestly think players are going to learn playing in the 4th tier of Scottish football, Pardew doesn't rate the SPL, he is not going to loan any players to a team at the bottom league in Scotland.}
Believable4
Unbelievable4
Yes they can read the rules again {Ed007's Note - Just apologise when you are ready. Notice the part it says 'SHALL NOT EXCEED FIVE'....
123.2.5 The Board shall not during a season approve more than four temporary transfers to any one club at any one time. Of these, no more than one such transfer at any one time shall involve a player who has reached the age of 21 years on 1st January of the appropriate year. The maximum number of temporary transfers allowed to any club in a season shall not exceed five, of which not more than two shall involve players who have reached the age of 21 years on 1st January of the appropriate year.

Don't agree with the number of loans. Regardless of rules it wouldn't help either side.
If we can loan certain players out though, even for half a season, that experience of competitive football is still more useful than reserve football despite the new Professional Development League (PDL) that has been setup.
Agree0
Disagree0
Cheers for clearing that up ed. Chris McLaughlin from BBC Scotland needs to check the rule book before his articles are published. Sounded odd as soon as I read it.
Agree0
Disagree0
It doesn't say 9 per season though does it. As long as Ashley invests in rangers it would be up to 9 players during his time investing in rangers surely? I agree that none of our players would learn anything in the Scottish 3rd division. We may as well loan players to the northern or southern leagues here it's the same level!
Agree0
Disagree0
Ashley has done this purely for money reasons as give it 3 to 4 seasons they will be back in spl just wait and see and ashleys 10% in shares will of made him 5 times the profit and who can blame him...edd do you think this is the case.. {Ed007's Note - It will be tied in with selling rights of strips. Green is desperately needing a cash injection so he will sell Ashley the rights to sell strips as a short term fix.}

sunderland fan here lads and not having a go but ive been talking to a few mags in the pub and a couple of lads hear things from some of the young trainees and they reckon that pardew has had a bit of a bust up with llambias as he has been told that he has to work with what his got at the moment as there is no way ashley will pay over the odds for the targets he has tried to sign. not saying you wont sign anyone before deadline day but i think if you do sign someone it wont be debuchy or anita it will be someone carr mentions.
Believable6
Unbelievable13

Have no idea but as i have allways said mon has not got the funds he thought he had and personally i was never a mon fan and really dont rate him.....
Agree0

Put the original post on and only mentioned what ive heard thats why ashley is a good buisiness man and has done well with some of the players you have signed. as for mon i think he has the funds but not the amount that most sunderland fans think he has.

What about a striker Ed? What if Senegal qualifies ACON, what will we do then?? {Ed026's Note - There are still rumours about Remy but I don't see another striker coming in this window, perhaps in January. As for Anita, apparently his wage demands exceed the ceiling in place, but he may still sign.
