IF the Bendtner rumours are true I wouldn't be surprised if Arsenal will attempt to include Jose Enrique in some sort of deal. From our point of view we'd obviously want money plus Bendtner for Jose, and Ashley will see this is a decent bit of business. I'd prefer it if neither player would swap the shirts to be honest.

nicklas bendtner is a target after newcastle have given up on erdinc. bendtner is on £50,000 aweek. i dont see why ashley would reject this. he hasnt broke the wage structure, under age of 26 and has an average of 15 goals per season in all competitions.

Why would we want Bendtner, he is a bad person and a bad player

Local press are insisting that newcastle targets are playing in france and spain

I am a newcastle fan and like everyone i would like to see MA spend millions of money in rhe transfer market but lets be realistic here... Hes not. But i dont think we have anything to worry about hes already proved that hes willing to pay 7million to get a player on tyneside but unfortuenately the deal fell through, plus when we loan out or sell the likes of xisco, smith and other not good enough players we will have more money in the transfer kitty and MA will be happier to more in wage bills.

Barton and smith were in the cherry tree jesmond with there birds last night. One of the lads had a bit crack and looks like Barton is going to villa and Smith holding out for Leicester or leeds.

What part of Ashley's 'Master Plan' do you not understand? We will not buy any player over a certain age....

Let me explain how it works. Ashley has a shopkeeper mentality. He brings items (players in this case) into stock which he will one day sell at a higher price. He will not buy an item which will decrease in value while on the shelf. This is why Nolan, Barton etc are being sold. It is also the reason he will not sanction the purchase of older players like Crouch. Not to mention that Crouch is s**te as well.

Newcastle will not sign nzogbia. Wigan chairman Whelan was disgusted with Ashleys conduct in the boardroom last season and refuses to do business. Infflux of French players helps as they are on much lower wages. Shane long or Carlton cole are only realistic options with new wage cap. Barton and Enrique will leave to maintain new wage structure. Champions league qualification might just slip by this season.
