It is rumored that AP has been told to use the players at his disposal with Raylor Tavinier Perch Vuckic Sammy and the 3 new lads stepping up and this is why he has been experimenting in pre season
It has caused some friction as he wants reinforcements for defence and striker as he is well aware of the problems with a small squad last season
Negotiations are afoot of trying to bring in 2 of the 3 players we have been linked with BUT only on our terms.

Yes There are reasons that the fringe players have been given some valuable playing time per season just hope with respect to the squad we are not running with the pack and sign 3/4 much needed experienced players
However it seems Ashley is happy with the squad after all it is new territory for us all and he thinks we should all accept his track of thought even though he knows nothing about football on the field of play and all players are numbers with a value over their heads.

MA will wait until the time is right to buy. He knows teams will attempt to hold the club to ransom and ask for huge fees for certain players. The fact is eventually these teams either sell or have a player who is not interested in playing for them. I believe it is essential to give as many players as poss time in pre season but would not see this as a sign of things to come. I really expect at least 2 signings before the end of the transfer window........may even be after our Europa tie as this will determine the strength in depth required for the season.

No thanks, Keegan just wants a blank cheque to spend on players and if he does not get it then he jumps does not think twice about jumping ship and leaving the rest of us to suffer.

I used to love Keegan but i changed my views on him fast, He is not a scratch on Bobby Robson.

Anyone know if anita would be signed as a full back or midfielder. Is he left or right footed? If hes a defender then weve got about 8 mill to sign a midfielder. Barrada?

He is a lefti , holding mid , can play lb as well , IMO be a good signing along side ct , allowing yc more freedom to advance , that central 3 assuming we play 433 is as good as any in Europe never mind this country !

Anita is not coming. We wont pay the money as he's not a bargain and bargains are all were interested in. He's set for AC Milan-fact.

He would be similar to Kompany, Playing centreback but could be pushed into the Tiote role when Tiote is out.

Kompany!? what u on about? He's very much a right footed centre midfielder. He sits deep in the midfield and pics the ball up from defence and knocks it about. Very good and keeping the ball moving with short passes. He has on a number of occasions covered at left back for ajax as hes pretty nimble and has quick feet and quick in the tackle. Again hes right footed though.
