Hi Ed, just listened to your podcast and was wondering with your knowledge of the manager how do you think he will use the three of Woltemade, Wissa and Osula? Who can you see being first choice? Will he play 2 upfront potentially?

{Ed001's Note - thank you for listening. From what I have seen, he likes a 10 behind a main striker (obviously that might just have been what he was handed rather than his preference), so I could see it being either Wissa or Osula with Woltemade playing behind them. I think he is the best suited to a 10 role. It is obviously very difficult to be sure, as he didn't pick his players in Saudi Arabia, they were handed to him. The recruitment for the league as a whole is handled by the former Chelsea guy, Michael Emenalo, who is sporting director for the league as a whole. I am not sure how that works, I would assume he is tasked with keeping the teams competitive as a whole, so that the competition is exciting to watch. But with what he had there, Jaissle in the games I saw had a forward with an attacking mid behind.}

Thanks for the replly, wild that they have a sporting director for the whole league but come to think of it, does make sense.

{Ed001's Note - so long as the SD has no favouritism, it can work for a manufactured product like that, to keep it close. I would have thought they would be better going with an American sports style set up to do that. Or a combination of the two, with Emenalo basically building a pool of players for the teams to choose between.}
