sure . good result , colo looked rusty need new cb, anita is lost cause as is tiote. Need winger and mitrovic needs support else he going to get sent off. Team should be:

If we got rid of mbiya because he couldn't head a ball how come we offered collo a new contract?

wijnaldum looks a class above the rest of the team. If mclaren is playing two holding midfielders we need someone better than anita. Cabaye would have been a perfect fit alongside collback. We definitely need more creativity from the middle.

won't state the obvious about the defence. Shawcross please!

Adama traore possibly on way to liverpool with villa and Everton also chasing him. 19 years old looks well worth buying. Surely even ashley can see he's an asset that potentially should increase. speed .flair. and doesn't get knocked off ball easy.

it seems not up to Ashley these days, remember we have a football board to make these decisions. McClaren - to his credit seems focused upon bringing in players who could immediately improve the 1st team.

According to a report Newcastle have had a £11 million bid for Bordeaux's Uruguayan striker Diego Rolan turned down although it is thought that there is not a huge difference in the two clubs' valuation and Bordeaux are thought to be searching for Rolan's replacement already. QPR are also willing to accept £13 million for Charlie Austin rather than £15 million but only if they get the money straight away rather than installments.
