Rumours on sky and twitter saying Ashley is looking to buy a 10% stake in Rangers!! Maybe he should use that money to strengthen our squad instead of investing in sunday league football.
Don't worry about it. It is all to do with getting the exclusive rights to sell their manky strips. Their deal with JJB has ran out...........
Let's hope so so he can be struck off
He should be concentrating on NUFC and if he won't spend 20/25m after 120m (including AC) last season and not far off this season we don't deserve to be a top club which will become apparent in the weeks to come.
Same rumour on sly but tbh i,m not worried every buisness ashley has and he has a few are all run seperatly so dont worry we have money just can not get them for the price we want....k
Shrewd move. 10 percent stake to have exclusive rights to sell rangers shirts. They have fans everywhere.
What a stupid comment. So Ashley investing a couple of million into Rangers will mean that he isn't strengthening NUFC. How much do you think he has invested into Newcastle, without making any money. The Rangers deal is all to do with merchandise, and selling shirts in sports direct.
I presume the only way some people will be happy is if Ashley stops his business interests, sells everything he owns, and invests every last penny into buying players and paying them the wages they want. Great strategy, that will definately work long term.
Stop twisting the job he,s doing at nufc is working thats all i,m bothered about not rangers......k
To be honest who are we to tell HIM how to spend HIS money, we as a club are financially sound now and we will stay that way by not paying too much money for players I for one say well done Mike this is the way to run a football club imagine being a pompey fan right now that could of easiley happened to us
If he does buy a stake will not be a bad place for some of our young talent to gain experience
