You have to remember that the 35 mill is not just for the player wages, that will also include things like appearence fees, loyalty bonus, and other bonus which they could get throughout their employment at the club. The main thing which is good about these deals though, is that its going to take bids in excess of 20 million for both to be allowed to leave, and even then both players have the contracts they want and both say this is a great club to play for and see a bright future here, aside from the fact that both players are first names on the team sheet if they leave they may never get into the first team and be the same players that they are at newcastle... He was at bolton aswell a few seasons back but got set back by loads of injuries... and we're not the only club looking at him interest from Stuttgart and Borussia Monchengladbach... Worth the risk?

I think he's a CM or a DM i could be wrong but he's rumoured to be valued at around 6-7 million so don't think were seriously interested in him.
