Toon looking at the big czech striker being given a free from liverpool. Jovanovich, (spelling)

Believable3 Unbelievable13

Lies.

Agree0 Disagree0

Hes not Czech hes from Serbia, so get your facts right next time mate

Agree0 Disagree0

And he's not big or a striker. He's a pacy winger

Agree0 Disagree0

Theres nothing big about him other than his ponytail

Agree0 Disagree0

He is being released as he cant settle in england and wants to move closer to home so about 200 mile in the wrong direction

Agree0 Disagree0

Shot down

Agree0 Disagree0

Jovanovic does not have a Ponytail and yes he can play as a striker, He is actually a pretty good player but not allowed a good chance at liverpool, He is too old for Newcastle though and Liverpool will want a transfer fee defo. {Ed001's Note - he is available on a free.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Not from cuckoo land but from geordie land, cut me and Im black and white thro and thro , a kna what im talkin aboot d yeah

Agree0 Disagree0

This would be awesome lol, but is absolute bull. why would we sell enrique and not replace him, and sign another bunch of midfielders?

I am at Newcastle airport waiting to go on holiday. I have just seen Emile Heskey coming out of the arrivals gate.
Could he be our new No9.........
Cum on the TOON

Believable7 Unbelievable16

Heskey? come on make it believable Plus if was heading to sunderland he would possibly use newcastle airport too Hmmm

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes he's signing 2 year deal for scum

Agree0 Disagree0

He could only be there to sign for Gateshead you mug

Agree0 Disagree0

I heard he was heading to sunderland as their new number 11 but had to fly into newcastle as sunderland does not have an airport

Agree0 Disagree0

He is a strong player to ply against the 3 ledgends mentioned it the other week that a couple of prem defenders at a night they were attending said he was one of the hardest players to play against

Agree0 Disagree0

Must be Newcastle he is signing for as he had a JJB carrier bag Ha Ha

Agree0 Disagree0

Hope not cause hes a big donkey

Agree0 Disagree0

Hopefully hes going to scumderland

Agree0 Disagree0

He must have been on his way to Sunderland as a Replacement for Gyan who is signing for Tottenham.

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah so I heard, he's on his way to see steve bruce about a captains role next year

Agree0 Disagree0

He Signing for 5under1and 1 year deal and some cheesey chips

Agree0 Disagree0

More chance of him signing for mackems next season, because anyone could get In that team look how many awful players theyve already signed They are just trying to beat us next season, which clearly won't happen

Agree0 Disagree0

Can we F**K right off with the heskey rumours its not even funny anymore.....if Alan Pardew of Fat T**t see these rumours i dont want any kind of ideas like this going into there heads......

Goal.com have reported Newcastle are close to agreeing a move for Paris Saint-Germain striker Mevlut Erding in a £7.5m deal.

Believable10 Unbelievable9

No we aint.. nothing has been agreed or anything Pardew said in interview tonight also PSG have confirmed nothing with be discussed until Leonardo is confirmed on wednesday

Think the N'Zogbia deal is dead if it was ever alive as Pardew said he want's a left sided player and a striker and it's pretty obvious the left sided player is a LB.

Believable8 Unbelievable9

Yeah i think its safe to say Nzog is a no go probably go to villa dont know why tho they are dreadful.

Agree0 Disagree0

He said 2 offensive signings

Agree0 Disagree0

He said a striker and a left sided player but with the club bidding for Taylor it's obvious a LB.

Newcastle United are the latest club to register an interest in Juan Manuel Martinez source clubcall at 16.17

Newcastle's French spending spree does not look like it will end there as Alan Pardew has now turned his attention to PSG's talented, but inconsistent striker Mevlut Erding and Saint-Etienne midfielder Blaise Matuidi. The 24 year-old has attracted PSG, Arsenal and Liverpool in the past, but ASSE have blasted the manner of les Parisiens' approach for the tenacious midfielder, opening the possibility for a transfer abroad.

Believable7 Unbelievable3

Like matuidi not sure about erding

Agree0 Disagree0

Seems like were becoming the new arsenel with all this french buying. but then pardew is smart as no french teams want to sell to each other, and is capitalising :)

Agree0 Disagree0

Taylor deal could be re-ignited if swansea lower the demands Will let him go for 4 million and not 10 mill as reportedalso Nufc looking at bringing in one of arsenals defenders in the deal for enruique which wont be finalised till end of july but should go thru

Believable4 Unbelievable4

Wouldn't pay £4 million for him.

Agree0 Disagree0

Balls to 4 mil, 3 mil tops. Gibbs AKA sick note will probably come in on loan if enrique goes the other way.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed any news on Nzogbia, i know its not the most reliable of sources but his odds of joining villa keep increasing on skybet {Ed024's Note - They (Villa) have the cash to buy him and can afford his wage demands

Believable6 Unbelievable3

04 Jul 2011 16:13:11
Here we go folks....Emmanuel Adebeyor (spelling). Initial discussions have been held with City Should be great with Ba.

Believable8 Unbelievable13

Dont talk wet Im a mag but that deal is never gonna come off. His wages are massive and he already said he wouldnt join blackburn and someone else cos he wants european football and a chance to win trophys As much as i want NUFC to win things we not the club he described

Agree0 Disagree0

Isn't he on 200k a week? so in other words p*ss off

Agree0 Disagree0

Mike Ashley won't pay his £180,000 a week wage demands, complete rubbish

Agree0 Disagree0

He said he won't join anyone until the last day of the window in case Real come back.

Agree0 Disagree0

I know this is rubbish but it wouldn't be th first time city have payed most of th wages of a player that they have loaned out (Craig Bellamy) to Cardiff

Agree0 Disagree0

No thanks hes trouble

Antoine Griezmann is another promising young Frenchman looking to make the step up to the next level and start rapping on Laurent Blanc's door of the national side. The pacy, creative winger currently plays for Real Sociedad but could look to France or England as a possible springboard to the national side. Finally, Michel Bastos is available for transfer at Lyon having expressed his desire to leave however

Believable7 Unbelievable5

Think this is pos from walker lad

Agree0 Disagree0

If We could land Bastos it would be a very good buy but he to good for Newcastle I think at this time

Strange, just saw Peter Ramage in KFC in the metro centre (100% serious). Might be nothing but QPR are back in training so shouldn't he be in London? We are trying to get rid of Routledge and QPR are desperate to sign him, maybe gunna take Ramage back? he's twice the player Simpson is.....

Believable4 Unbelievable17

Good effort, because there's no KFC in the metrocentre.. try better

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm not saying that the Ramage rumour is true, but there is a KFC in the metrocentre, in fact, I believe there are actually 2. One upstairs in the blue quadrant and a new one down stairs in the yellow.

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes there is a kfc in the metrocentre

GATESHEAD METRO CENTRE KFC
Metro Shopping Centre , Upper Blue Mall,
Gateshead, NE11 9YZ

Agree0 Disagree0

Ramage is from Berwick upon Tweed and was up visiting family at weekend, so probably travelling back

Agree0 Disagree0

There is a KFC in the metro centre, it's in the Red quadrent. Don't want to split hairs but it was actually the KFC on clasper way just over the Scotswood bridge. I'm not a mackem trying to post nonsense, this is 100% genuine. Even mackems aren't that funny......

Agree0 Disagree0

Possibly the worst footballer seen in a Newcastle shirt since Fumaca

Agree0 Disagree0

Your both correct in a sence, I prefer McDonnalds to be honest... as do most high calibre footballers. Other players like Messi and what not they eat at Burger King, too pricey if you ask me.

Agree0 Disagree0

Regardless of which KFC or whether he should be in london... i cant imagine QPR being too happy with him being in KFC at all

Agree0 Disagree0

You rate that by his championship performances? Please keep Ramage away from NUFC, i was happy when he left in the first place

Agree0 Disagree0

The lad still lives up here he's just up visiting family and friends

Agree0 Disagree0

Considering the fact hes from Ashington, maybe hes seeing family?

Phil Airey will be loaned out to Hibernian after US tour for half season Calderwood rates him very highly
SS

Believable7 Unbelievable7

It's pointless saying something like that when Calderwood might not even be at Hibs next season.

Agree0 Disagree0

Sorry cudve swarn this was a rumours site and the fact that Hibs denied Birmingham permission to speak to him means hes extremely likely to still be there and follow up his interest Newcastles young forward

Agree0 Disagree0

And Pardew had a go at the quality of the SPL saying it was not good enough so I doubt he will send him there when there are Championship and League 1 clubs interested.

Agree0 Disagree0

Clichy set for medical at the City of Manchester : + Pardew's desperation to get Bridge/Taylor deal tied up = Enrique to Arsenal.

Rahul

Believable7 Unbelievable8

We dont want bridge, man city may want the deal

Apparently we are intersted in canales from madrid ..then again daily mail say so so i dont believe it and if he cant play well in a madrid team then no use coming to us and playin premierleague football :) ...Geordie sturrock

Believable7 Unbelievable2

Blackpool enquired about taking him on loan in January so there's no harm in trying also he is on the fringes of the team and with Madrid likely to bring players in it may do him good.

Agree0 Disagree0

He can't get in Madrid's team so he can get in NUFC ? unbelievable..... your arrogance knows no bounds

Agree0 Disagree0

Madrid are slightly better than us unfortunately, he could certainly challenge for a place in the first team

Agree0 Disagree0

Also he's a youngster only 21/22 so that's another reason why
