Simpson out for a month if the Debuchy deal is finalised in time looks like he could be making his debut against Everton which no RB looks forward to playing against Pienaar and Baines.

Believable0 Unbelievable6

My bad Debuchy will not be playing so looks like Perch will now be playing RB.

Agree5 Disagree0

Even if we wernt getting Debuchy we wouldnt miss simpson with perch and taverier, we should think about getting Dummett back from loan as well

Agree3 Disagree5

Taverier is poor even worse than Simpson by a mile and did you see how bad perch played at cb

Agree6 Disagree6

How many games have you seen him play in his preferred position of RB? He has made a handful of appearances and mostly out of position.

Agree1 Disagree4

Dummett's loan at St Mirren is about to end and I read that Pardew and the coaches were going to have a look at him before deciding whether to send him back out on loan or not.

Agree0 Disagree1

We're gonna get ripped apart by Baines and Pienaar on Wed without a decant right back.

Quaresma is unattached at the moment, surely worth looking in to?
Debuchy needs to get through the door asap with Simpson injured now, and I read on a website that Diame of West Ham has a release in his contract of 3.5 mil, but QPR have made an offer.
He's been very impressive every time ive watched WH this season, so id be going for him too
Ideally we need about 3/4 players in my opinion, a right back, centre back, quick forward who can play on the wing as well and centre mid cover as Tiote is off to ACoN
Whats the word on Sissoko of Toulouse?

Believable4 Unbelievable2

Hi ed whats the news on sissoko if there is some {Ed001's Note - I haven't heard anything about him recently, though Newcastle were sniffing round in the summer.}

NUFC to improve CB area in January, amongers other parts of the team. NUFC to put a bid in for Joleion Lescott & Johnny Heitinga who are both unhappy at their respective clubs. Remy, Debuchy & Roberto Rosales to also join

Believable4 Unbelievable12

2 players from france on thursday both defenders

Agree9 Disagree4

Lescott is on 90k a week NOT A HOPE

Agree11 Disagree0

Would be good to get both c/bs m8 plenty cover proven defenders...geordie tom

Agree3 Disagree4

Heitinga from everton, cause hell leave there to join a small club who are almost in relegation get real mate! As usual the toon fans are deluded

Agree4 Disagree9

Heitinga is crap and we won't be fighting relegation we will end up 11-13

Agree6 Disagree2

Have to agree with the Everton fan stupid thing to post we are not all deluded pal.

Agree5 Disagree1

Im an Everton fan and for one Newcastle are not a small club, and Heitinga is unhappy at Everton so it could happen.

Agree3 Disagree2

Everton calling the toon a small club ? 21 years the epl has been about and has everton finished runners up = no small club in liverpool with 30k fans at most yes they playing above us now but i dare say we have finished higher than them in epl than they have against us....nearly every year we spend more than you and we pay more wages than you and nufc make more profit than you.....FACT

Agree3 Disagree3

Who cares

Agree4 Disagree0

Everton didn't call us a small club it was ONE fan just like you're calling them a small club Everton are a great club with great fans, manager and very good players.

Agree8 Disagree4

Since newcastle last won a domestic trophy in 1955 here is a list of trophys won by a small club on merseyside mate
Enlish champions 1962“63, 1969“70, 1984“85, 1986“87
fa cup winners 1966, 1984, 1995
league cup winners 1984
charity shield winners 1970, 1984, 1985, 1986 (shared), 1987, 1995
european cup winners 1985
record home attendance of 78, 000 compaired to 68, 000
Dixie Dean 383 goals all competitions compared to Alan Shearer 206 and Everton through all the bad times have never had a low attendance in the region of 7, 000 like newcastle v wrexham not bad for a small club in liverpool

Agree4 Disagree5

Like the comment above says...who cares? We're here to comment on rumours (however bizarre) and that's it. You want to slag eachother off go on the banter pages.

Agree4 Disagree0

Evertons long with us our a top 8 club and they are like us great fans good manger sell for good money at the right price like us . We are also both like Arsenal we both along with Spurs and Liverpool fight for the top 4.

Agree1 Disagree4

Expect Nufc to sign - Debuchy and Mbiwa early in the transfer window.

Newcastle also have a deal agreed with Marseille should Demba Ba move on.

Believable7 Unbelievable4

Carroll at st james' park.. think its the tube station tho

Agree3 Disagree4

What's he there for , has he lost his hair band

Agree4 Disagree0

I would be over the moon if we got Mbiwa, he would be immense and it would be a major coup to get a player of that quality.

I have my doubts but I will keep my fingers crossed.

Where are all the rumours coming from that only champions league clubs can set off ba's release clause ed? {Ed002's Note - A small village near Bedford.}

Believable3 Unbelievable2

Anyone that matches £7.5 m can activate the clause. The original clause did state champions league clubs that had qualified only.Ba's contract was renegotiated when he got an improved contract, The clause of 7.5 was kept, the champions league clubs part was removed.Anyone CAN activate it now

Agree1 Disagree7

Clearly you have no clue about Ba's contract.

Why would we amend his contract without removing the buy out clause??

Ba's contract has remained the same since signing, I dont know to much about only CL clubs being able to buy however I am sure that no contract has been amended.

I thought this is what we have been trying to do for the last 2 months and failed??

We have signed debuchy and Remy

Believable4 Unbelievable8

Where have you got proof

Agree2 Disagree0

Remy going to AC Milan {Ed002's Note - Chelsea, Spurs, Newcastle, Everton and Lille have shown varying degrees of interest in Loic Remy but there have been no approaches to Marseille regarding Remy from Liverpool or from QPR who appear to be the latest club linked with the player. There was discussion with Chelsea about Remy during the negotiations over Azpilicueta but it came to nothing. Remy would perhaps be interested in a move to England but his recent form has been poor and Marseille know it will be difficult to get a good price for the player. Newcastle will very likely complete the transfer of Remy in January, although there is a slim chance that they might face opposition from Everton who made a recent approach to Marseille about his availability on loan. As far as Marseille are concerned, they have started looking for a replacement.}

Agree3 Disagree4

30 Dec 2012 19:13:33
Ed, do you know if there's any links for us for QPR's diakite, cisse and mbia, apparently they want to ship them out because of wages, and we need a defender and striker, any possible links? {Ed002's Note - I don't, sorry.}

Believable2 Unbelievable2

Why would we want any of their under performing, over paid part timers.

Agree3 Disagree1

They haven't played to their potentials, djibril cisse, give him a chance and he'll score, great hood striker, mbia, more cover for CB much better than willo, diakite, good young potential.
