Just be careful what you wish for re a new owner, likes of pompy and hearts and rangers should tell you the grass isn't always greener

He may want to sell but nobody wants to buy

Sounds legit.
From the Richest league in the world, to a club a few divisions below the 42nd league in the world.
Rangers will be back with a bang in a few years to come, but you just have to look at Celtic selling Wanyama and Hooper to know Scottish football is going nowhere.
To be fair though, Celtic have a better team than Sunderland.

What is this obsession with billionaire foreign owners? modern football stibks to high heaven, foreign owners, sky tv deals, foreign tv deals, 39th game rubbish, diving feigning players, racism abound no respect for referees blatant cheating, over priced tickets, it's a shambles there's never been so much money in football et clubs are going to the wall while sky's favourite elite few pay obscene prices and wages to buy a handful of players to sell shirts in the far east
the gamee as I knew it is ****ed and long gone
Agree2
Disagree1
Not sure i'd say them selling their 2 best players means scottish football is going nowhere you could argue the fact the players are demanding the fees they did means scottish football is going somewhere in the direction of having decent players in their league.

Rangers will be back in top division in a couple of seasons, already have huge support and will be back in the champions league as soon as they get back into the top division with a lot less money than it would cost for us to get into that competition and then that will give Ashley the perfect opportunity to cover their stadium with sports direct signs and get good advertisement in the biggest completion in the world.

Ashley is obviously planning to turn Rangers intoa feeder club for Newcastle, the biggest tem in the biggest league in the world.

According to the daily star a planned bid for M'Baye Niang from AC has been put on hold as AC have lost two strikers already and don't want to lose a third. Personally I think our reported interest in Niang is completely made up
Believable4

Pure fabrication

Doubt Milan would sell him this season. Sampdoria were interested in Niang as a replacement for Icardi. If Milan were going to get rid of Niang they wuda part exchanged him in the deal that took Poli to Milan

Reports saying a loan deal for Remy is done, with a press release to follow shortly.
no major websites have said anything yet, but more that one source is claiming this.
Believable4
Unbelievable13
For the last time QPR are not loaning Remy out will only sell for his buy out of 8mil. Harry he said this in the press so anyone saying a loan deal is done is just making stuff up. Unless Newcastle offer 8mil and pay his 70k a week wages he's not coming.
Agree2
Disagree4
They'd prefer to sell but Redknapp would rather loan him out because Remy doesn't want to play in the championship in a world cup year and it means they can get him back if they get promoted back to the premier league
Agree3
Disagree3
We need to sign at least one striker before the opener, QPR won't loan Remy out I don't think but I believe that the toon will sign him for his 8 mil clause, I also think that Bent could still be on the cards too so I wouldn't rule out us not to sign him.
Agree2
Disagree3
Im not trying to start a slanging match here and you are probably completely right about it not happening but all i'd like to say is it wouldn't be the first time a manager has said one thing won't happen and then it does. As a Newcastle fan we should know better this better than anyone else.

Loan deal Newcastle pay half of his wages with a clause saying if QPR don't get promoted the then Newcastle have the option to buy for 5 mil

Sky reporting loan deal for remy
Agree2

remy will come to Newcastle on loan with qpr paying half his wages. so who is harry going to use as a centre forward i'm sure he is relying on remy to get qpr back up, especially after missing out on hooper and letting Mackie go. the only way remy will come to Newcastle will be if he is bought outright for somewhere in the region of 8 mill and 75k a week which looks highly unlikely as Ashley wouldn't go to 8mill for gomis a player who he could have on half the wages he will need to pay remy.

Apparently we've left an offer of £7 million on the table for Gomis and it's up to Lyon to either take it or leave it and let him leave for free in the summer. Considering their financial position and the apparent lack of interest from other clubs I think they'll try and holdout for more the just give in and accept it assuming no other bids are made because they'll not get anywhere near £7 million if they try to sell him in January and they lose him for nothing if they don't sell before next summer.
Believable4
Unbelievable3
Lyon chairman started today blaming the fee for the move now he is saying it is held up as Gomis wants 3k more a week than we want to offer. Hope this is not true. Not a great deal of money in the grand scheme of things.
Agree2
Disagree4
I Wouldn't be surprised if Lyon were waiting for their result in the champions league to be decided before they start accepting bids. Expect the deal to be done swiftly if they get knocked out at the qualifying stages, but expect it to drag on if they get through.
