Afraid gervinho is unlikely to come to newcastle as he as a contract at lille till 2012 and is looking to stay there till then. but no one knows its up to pardew and ashley.

Can see this being a total letdown summer transfer window. We will get mostly free transfer and cheap lower lge players. I watched Graham (Watford) when he played for Carlisle. Definately not a prem player! {Ed001's Note - to be fair he has come on in leaps and bounds since then! I would never have believed it was the same player I was watching if I hadn't seen it with my own eyes.}

Agree Ed but I think he's found his platform. Might be worth a gamble but would prefer an already high profile striker. Less risky. But I can imagine lower league players are high on Pardews list. i do not trust him spending money. Hope i'm wrong. Psycho Carlisle
