Just heard from a reliable source that Tottenham are weighing up a £20 million bid for Demba Ba. Ba said the other day that he had a conversation with Andre Villas Boas when the two sides met on the 18th August.

They could of had 1 month ago for 7 million now they going to pay 20 million that makes sense........k

They not champ league for the umpteenth time so could not bid 7

If spurs had wanted him they would have bid before his release clause expired. Yes I know they couldn't activate his clause but they could have bid £10m say and we would have probably taken it cause we would have not known if a CL team was going to activate it, giving us £3m more profit. That's why no one now will bid for ba now.

Obviously a load of rubbish. BA had a clause in his contract this summer to go for 8 million so why would they sign him now for 20 mill? your just causing trash talk.

I heard 4 million loan fee.
Do you know anything about this Ed? It was apparently some "ITK" on Catalan tv who mentioned it. {Ed052's Note - I doubt it}

His wages would make the move impossible.
