Any truth in the persistent rumours of Smith to Leeds? Anyone reliable have a thought on this??
Don't have a clue but my guess is Leeds is his most likely destination and will probably finish his career there. {Ed007's Note - He has always had a soft spot for Rangers too, so maybe an outsider if the take over goes through, but IMO he wouldn't drop down a division again, that is if Leeds don't go up of course}

Afraid newcastle are going to lose Barton, Enrique and Nolan to Liverpool and probably Everton. If our fans think we are going to hang on to those players think again. Pardew is not happy about it but out of his hands. Only 15 million for him to spend over the summer and who will want to sign for the toon when our best players are leaving to better themselves.
afraid a religation battle looms for next season. Oh for a chairman and owner like Quinn and Short fed up soon to be ex season ticket holder.

Campbell and Smith offloaded to save wages.
