If Senegal get beat 2nyt do our strikers come? Any ideas Ed? {Ed001's Note - not straight away no, they have one more group game to play on the 29th.}
Believable0
Unbelievable0
So they could both be back for blackburn on the 1st Feb? {Ed001's Note - yes.}
Agree3

Hope so
Agree0

The will be wrecked for that game, i'd rather save them for the game against spurs on the 4th, i believe it is
Agree2
Disagree0
Well thats 2-3 days to recover from the games and fly here, so maybe they will rest them for that game and bring them in on the next one?
Agree1
Disagree0
Senegal out - Strikers on there way home after the last game of the group. Expect to see them after Blackburn!

Reports in France claim Newcastle are taking a keen interest in St Etienne’s Faouzi Ghoulam. The 20-year-old is also followed by QPR, Roma and Napoli.
Believable6

If our boys get back on flight tonight from africa back in time for lunch and fa cup on satuday. has anybody seen cisse do a decent kick with his left foot yet, shocking in africa,
Agree0
Disagree3
How can they get back for the cup when they've got another game to play yet tool
Agree1
Disagree1
The pitch out there are s**t cant judge
Agree0
Disagree0
1 in 2 in germany, and you say he cant kick with his left foot ?
Agree0
Disagree1
Agree with the guy above, the pitch the teams were playing on tonight looked more like a swamp than a field.
Agree1
Disagree0
He does look rather average. But saying that Demba Ba's record in Germany was terrible and this Cisse's is a lot better. I do think we should have gone for the other Senegalise striker though.....Sow. Amazing goal scoring record with Lille and costs roughly the same

Newcastle are expected to go after Wilfried Zaha's signature....Lets hope ;) ToonShack

Believable6
Unbelievable6
Looks average. A lot of skill but no end product. Maybe a little work on him and he could become good. But he looks like he has no idea when playing.
Agree3
Disagree0
Got to agree with the above post, If we want pace and skill we may as well spend the money to develop obertan..
Agree3
Disagree0
He looks like a poorly focused player, too young and lacking vision - fingers crossed we leave him alone

i put this on here last monday that graham carr told me last saturday night in paris after the fulham game that nufc have never had any interest in erdic all just paper talk and press rubbish
Believable4
Unbelievable4
No he turned you down, like larsson, gardner, ruiz, n'zogbia the list is endless
Agree1
Disagree3
Cabaye, Ba, Cisse, Ben Arfa didnt turn us down did they?
Agree2
Disagree0
Larsson didnt turn us down. we agreed a deal and he agreed personal terms but birmingham pulled out at the last minute. he even came out and said that. neither gardner or n'zogbia were targets either and ruiz was only a last resort.

From a very good source(very close mate of ours within the club), newcastle interested in fulham centre half brede hangeland for potential player and cash deal, player in swap is thought to be unsettled performer gabrial obertan.. money suspected to be in the region of 4million plus player.. deal resting on fulhams decision to allow newcastle to talk to the player!
Believable5
Unbelievable9
Brede Hangeland would be an excellent buy. Bit of a monster, good in the air and a wrecking ball at corners and free kicks in the opposing area.
Obertan going would make sense - Zaha in to replace him?
Agree4
Disagree1
Now that is a rumour I hope comes off.
Agree7
Disagree1
Heard this at work today! few of the lads think it could be guthrie going the opposite way and not obertan!
Agree2
Disagree3
This would be great if it's true
not at all if it's guthrie though...
Agree3
Disagree0
I would pay them to take obertan
Agree5

42 players and counting
Agree1

Why would it be Guthrie going if he's literally just signed a new contract? Brumtoon
Agree1

ED, now Senegal are officially out after their loss to Eq Guinea how soon can we have our two strikers back. {Ed001's Note - 29th is their last game, they won't be released before then.}
Agree1

Why would hangeland leave for a team his team just stuffed. HIGH 5 2 FULHAM

Believable4
Unbelievable6
Welshtoon your knowledge is usually good - what is your source on this one buddy? TBH I have never seen him play, but have heard that everyone and their dog is after him.
Agree2

I could've believed this to be true considering we've already bid and all, but...
since the post script is signed WelshToon it kind of discards any sense of crediblity

Does anyone think we would have a chance of landing Tevez on loan if manc cannot get a buyer?
Believable1
Unbelievable9
Absolutely not for a variety of reason, ie location wage etc, and even if we did i wouldnt want him....im actually gettin P****d off with this tevez c**p lyk. wish sum foreign team wud jus buy him so i dont have to hear or see his name ever again.
Agree7
Disagree0
Sober up
Agree5
Disagree0
I'd say it's not as unrealistic as most would think
but the fact remains he's on almost 200k p/w and i don't think there's any way man city want to pay any of that, and there's no way we can afford it
Agree5
Disagree0
Not a chance
Agree6
Disagree0
Considering man city have said he will 100% leave on loan and even rejected ac milans loan to buy so he will never come to us on loan if he was available
Tottenham would go for him
Agree0
Disagree0
He would never come here he will go where he is guarnteed champions leauge football
Agree1
Disagree0
Why he is trouble?
Agree0
Disagree0
In fairness, although this won't realistically happen, I can see why fans would come to this conclusion, and not because they're deluded.
Tevez worked with Pardew at West Ham United and knows Pardew quite well. Don't know what the relationship was like, because I don't think Tevez got played often. Also he knows Jonas Gutierrez and Fabricio Coloccini from Argentina squads and Danny Simpson from his days at Man U
In practical reasons, i.e. signing Cisse, other areas need more improvement and our strict transfer policy means we won't sign him, but people shouldn't get on this guy's back.
Agree0
Disagree1
This is all more exciting than reading brothers grimm
Agree0
Disagree0
I wouldnt want tevez in my changing room it would be to much and would ruin the team
Agree0
Disagree0
I hope the little mug rots on that bench. how disrespectfull to resfuse to play for any club even more so when its the sort of money hes on. wouldnt touch the prat with a barge pole
Agree0
Disagree0
Haha who's next? Messi? Oh sorry 'Messy'
Agree0
Disagree0
Ok. picture the scenario. away to arsenal, 1 nil down at half time and we need a boost up front. but the doesnt want to play cause its raining. no thanks. think i would rather have amedopey instead.

Newcastle will buy 1 defender (probally CB) and spend the rest of pardews 8mill on young talent. -DP

No the 10 million came out the summer funds. heard this of the chronical. -DP

Liverpool are intrested in Frabricio Colochini aw great thats all we need our best defender to leave
Believable3
Unbelievable8
Colo going nowhere!!
Agree4

Liverpool have been interested for ages. They're a s**te team, and I doubt he would go from being captain at a team that looks like it might challenge for top 6 to a team that looks like it might be lucky to make top 8 (not as captain). Sure I heard Enrique is already regretting the move. IrishToon
Agree5
Disagree2
I couldn't see this, why would he go there unless it was for money, we are just as big and showing more signs of moving the right direct
Agree4
Disagree2
Mate, we are not 'just as big' as Liverpool. But I see your point, were moving in the right direction faster than them atm
Agree3
Disagree2
I reported this 4 weeks ago and got shot down, liverpool will have enrique and carroll stating just how good he is and kd knows ash would be tempted if a profit/good deal is avail.
Agree1
Disagree2
He wants to win trophys i think
Agree1

Load of crap 80mill to much for k dalglish
Agree3

You reported it 4 weeks ago and it was rubbish then and it is rubbish now.

He wont win nowt win Liverpool. A team in Decline. If it wasn't for Doglish's reputation he would have been sacked by now.

Ravell Morrison was on his way to Newcastle in the early hours of this morning. This is what he tweeted at 12.20am. "long drive ahead, window down for fresh air"
Believable5
Unbelievable2
This doesent mean hes on his way up here he could be going anywhere
Agree5
Disagree2
Apparently Man Utd are desperate to sell him to us now as they don't want him leaving on a free in the summer. He has no future at Manchester United as Ferguson has lost patience with him as he sees him as a trouble maker. Looks a great talent and the future of NUFC looks as good as any in the prem atm. :D
Agree4
Disagree1
So, manu dont ant him because he is trouble? newcastle want him why?
Agree1
Disagree1
Newcastle believe talking him away from his troubles( mates he's brought up with in the wythenshawe area on Manchester) is a risk worth taking for a relatively small fee. If he does sort himself out we could have one hell of a player at our club. I'm a toon season ticket holder from the greater Manchester area, and believe me wythenshawe isn't an area where a young footballer should be spending his time. Only time will tell but I believe a move away for him would really help him out
Agree3
Disagree0
Because nufc seems to attract trouble.
MA is prob gonna get him thrown into the 1st time, hope he starts showing his potential then sell him to the highest bidder before he's 21.
Agree3
Disagree0
Original poster here. Seems I was right, ravell at Benton right now!
Agree2

The kid got done for assaulting his mother! I dont want him at newcastle! I thought the days of signing bowyers woodgates and dyers were over!
Agree1
