Looks average. A lot of skill but no end product. Maybe a little work on him and he could become good. But he looks like he has no idea when playing.

Got to agree with the above post, If we want pace and skill we may as well spend the money to develop obertan..

He looks like a poorly focused player, too young and lacking vision - fingers crossed we leave him alone

From a very good source(very close mate of ours within the club), newcastle interested in fulham centre half brede hangeland for potential player and cash deal, player in swap is thought to be unsettled performer gabrial obertan.. money suspected to be in the region of 4million plus player.. deal resting on fulhams decision to allow newcastle to talk to the player!

Brede Hangeland would be an excellent buy. Bit of a monster, good in the air and a wrecking ball at corners and free kicks in the opposing area.
Obertan going would make sense - Zaha in to replace him?

Now that is a rumour I hope comes off.

Welshtoon your knowledge is usually good - what is your source on this one buddy? TBH I have never seen him play, but have heard that everyone and their dog is after him.

I could've believed this to be true considering we've already bid and all, but...

Absolutely not for a variety of reason, ie location wage etc, and even if we did i wouldnt want him....im actually gettin P****d off with this tevez c**p lyk. wish sum foreign team wud jus buy him so i dont have to hear or see his name ever again.

Why he is trouble?

In fairness, although this won't realistically happen, I can see why fans would come to this conclusion, and not because they're deluded.

Tevez worked with Pardew at West Ham United and knows Pardew quite well. Don't know what the relationship was like, because I don't think Tevez got played often. Also he knows Jonas Gutierrez and Fabricio Coloccini from Argentina squads and Danny Simpson from his days at Man U

In practical reasons, i.e. signing Cisse, other areas need more improvement and our strict transfer policy means we won't sign him, but people shouldn't get on this guy's back.

This is all more exciting than reading brothers grimm

They're a s**te team, and I doubt he would go from being captain at a team that looks like it might challenge for top 6 to a team that looks like it might be lucky to make top 8 (not as captain).
