Yes, put the xenophobia away, I don't care where they come from, saylor and shola are geordies, enough said. {Ed001's Note - isn't Steven Taylor from London?}
Agree3
Disagree5
Why do you care where they're from? So long as they score plenty of goals it doesn't matter.
Agree3
Disagree1
Don't care what nationality they are, both fantastic players with the attributes we need for strikers
Agree3

Born in London, to Geordie parents who moved back to the North East. {Ed001's Note - cheers.}

Hardley xenaphobia. Where does the post say anything untoward towards foreigners.
Agree1

Sunderland are now talking to Remy
Agree5

As long as we have the appropriate home grown player allowance I don't care if they come from outer space tbh.
Agree2

7th post SMB, remy too good for sunderland, you're forgetting all they are signing are loads of below average players!
Agree8

2 more frenchies

Ed
yes saylor is a londoner but the point being if they're good players (not saylor and shola who are English) who cares where they're from.
Agree0

Is Newcastle in england, sure London is in England too. sick and tired of all these cheap foreigners
Agree2
Disagree1
Yeah because Krul, Colo, Cabaye, Ben Arfa, Cisse etc can barely kick a ball. what a daft comment.
Agree1
Disagree0
What's wrong with buying cheap foreign players? So far they've all been good buys and considering that most English players are over priced and not as good as most foreign options I'd rather foreign players.
Agree1
Disagree0
You won't get Remy, are you lot kidding, most players see your sloping pitch and just can't believe it. LOL.
Agree2
Disagree5
Another week of speculation
Possible talks and hearsay
Still no signings over the line
And a loss to a middle position Portugal club
Players possibly going include cabaye still
Ben arfa and cisse
Am I worried
Dam right

Your whole club is on a steep slippery slope.
Only rumour, but Bent going to Fulham and Cabaye move imminent. The slope gets steeper.
Get your head out of the sand pit jtoon.
Agree3
Disagree6
If they're good players, they're good players. Who cares where they come from?
This "we need English players cause they care more" mentality is a heap.
Agree2
Disagree0
Jeez this Cabeye move imminent story is that from the same source who said you lot were buying Rose, Canvani, ledwanski?
Agree3
Disagree2
What sandpit j!zz? you should be worrying about your small club as they are signing too many average players!
Agree3
Disagree1
Better signings than the ones you have made. Oops.
Agree3
Disagree4
Saylor may have been born in London but parents are toon and they moved back to toon before his first birthday
Agree1
Disagree0
Not hard since we ain't made any. Good justification though Jizz.
Agree2
Disagree1
I'd rather have no one than your players.

They are using us to get the Turkish to up their offer imo, it's not the first time this has been done and won't be the last, anyway he's too old for us.

Newcastle are in advanced negotiations with Bafetimbi Gomis, pardew has confirmed we are interested in him and the Lyon president has confirmed newcastle and aston villa are both in talks for the french striker.
Meanwhile Newcastle are also talking to Loic Remy's representatives who have agreed to forget about January as it has now been reported that Remy wants to join the magpies.
And with Papiss Cisse looking likely to leave, could pave way for Aston Villa and England striker Darren Bent, and Aston Villa are ready to agree to a £4-5m deal with Newcastle, as Christian Benteke took a U-turn with Villa and signed a contract extension.

Gomis is finalising a deal with aston villa and is expected to pass a medical on Monday or Tuesday the latest he is a replacement for bent WHO is on is way to Newcastle for 5.5 million on a 3 year contract sorry guys but true
bent will get you the goals you need but won't stop you guys fighting relegation get rid of joe the kidder quick or else you will be a team like Sheffield Wednesday or even wolves
Agree5

Gomis is not signing for Villa. Mackem alert. Villa don't want to meet the valuation. We have now its down to terms. Expect Remy to sign also. West ham interested but want him on loan. QPR want to sell not loan.
Agree4
Disagree6
Villa have had bid accepted and have planned a medical for Monday
gomis has accepted terms and is believed to be on 25k a week
team to watch this season is villa and I see them pushing for europa place this season great manager and a hungry young team who want to prove there selfs
aston villa top 8
Newcastle to be relegated if no one signs in which I can see happening with the joe kidder on board hope this not happen as Newcastle is a massive club
Agree4
Disagree6
Sorry but Aston villa have agreed a fee for Gomis it's on sky. So looks like Bent will be coming to us. Forget Gomis as he's not coming to Newcastle. Bent will sign and so will Remy if Cisse is sold otherwise just Bent in.
Agree2
Disagree5
We still have a chance on Gomis. we might of agreed a fee, it just hasn't been reported.
Agree3
Disagree2
Wonder if all those people who post that He is a wonderful player thinks that when he signs for Aston Villa!
Agree1
Disagree2
Nothing on Sky regarding Gomis going to Villa. Mackems getting worried by the sound of it
Agree3
Disagree2
Us getting worried? shake your head mate then watch Gomis best bits on you tube, the montage lasts about 30 seconds of lucky goals, why have clubs not signed him up in the past? because he is very average.
Agree3
Disagree2
Well thought out.
6 out and 4 in.
Add Cabaye and Cisse makes 8 out and 4 in.
Is it 1 or 2 players who have left already?
A paper thin squad and you believe you can reach 4th place?
Please stop it, my sides are aching.
Agree5
Disagree3
Average is a word the mackems are familiar with. Describes your signings very well.
Agree4
Disagree4
Cabaye won't leave. we have great young players who will replace the deadwood j!zz.
Agree1

Yeah you are getting worried with the whole team of nobodys you have signed!
Id rather sign no body that sign a whole lot of nobodys.
Agree1

Highly doubt we would be 3 strikers!
