I think barcelona may be interested in signing enrique and they might have to offer players in exchange. they are short on funds right now, and are already poised to sign alexi sanchez from udinese and are hoping to sign fabregas from arsenal. i understand that bojan is soon to be a roma player, so that would rule him out and jeffren wants to remain at barca, the only other players i can see being offered are affelay (long shot), kierisson (spelling)?, adriano or maybe some academy players
Would swap Enrique for Adriano and Jefferen. Adriano to replace Enrique at left back and Jeffren would give us another forward option.

There was a error with his visa application so he is now just going to Holland with Barton, Williamson, Ranger and Routledge and the reserves.

A Failed visa can happen for a number of reasons. For instance i myself was denied at first because i simply forgot to put my middle names down on the form (which i never use) and as they couldnt background check/verify my existence i was denied until the issue was resolved.
It could be something as petty as that.

ED you got any info on the striker situation? its all gone a bit quiet, no news on the erding deal and then theres the rumours of the sturridge loan deal but thats all.
Also any other names that are possabilities?
{Ed042's Note - Rondon and Bendtner are the only two names with any substance behind the rumoured interest.. good news that Arsenal have cooled their interest in Rondon if we are in for him, as far as Bendtner goes theres reported interest from Everton about a loan deal today so would suggest his future is very much up in the air, but odds have been slashed on him moving to Hamburg in the last day or so too... as far as the ones you mentioned, Erdincs agent seems to be a major problem and with him saying he would like to fight for his place at PSG, would suggest we have hit a brick wall there.. The Danny Sturridge situation is all depending on two things, how he gets on on tour with Chelsea, and if they sign another striker, but AVB has said he personally rates Sturridge highly so loan deal would be the best case scenario, no chance of a purchase I dont think}

The deal for Erding as you will know is almost dead thanks to his agent. NUFC have made an offer of 8.5m for Royston Drenthe of Real Madrid as he is not wanted by Real although not a striker would be great addition to the squad if NUFC can pull it off cant see it happening but you just never know ed do you know if any other clubs are sniffing around Drenthe and what you think our chances of getting him and do you rate him
