I highly doubt it'll happen, but we have been linked to signing Odemwingie from West Brom for around 8 million. It may go through if we get desperate at the end of the window, as it was evident that we badly need a striker.
The deal for Maiga looks as if it could be completed before the match agaisnt the unwashed for around 7 million, but I don't think he'll get the number 9 immediately.
At the moment we have been strongly linked to 2 left backs, Erik Pieters and Aly Cissoko. I reckon we'll get Pieters, as his deal is cheaper, but then again Cissoko is French.

Congrats, you have the uncanny ability to completely copy what everyone else has said and put it into one really long post. Thats a seriously good talent to have. On a serious note waste of time typing both the message for yourself and this for me.

Mate half the stuff on here has already been written atleast once doesnt mean hes copying it, what about obertan anyway that got written loads of times and look what happened there

He is 29 and WBA have slapped a 8 million valuation on him so judging by what the club has said in recent times i think this is rubbish

Any strikers left that you clowns havent been interested in .face up no body wants to go to your once was club

Would be a good signing IMO.
8m said to be enough to get him and he scored a good amount last season for a first season and considering he played a lot of it as a lone striker. Would be a good partner to ba/ameobi.

Most teams in the EPL know that we would ( after a season or few ) be fighting it out at the top as the money we'd make in the league would give us the buying power that we've been doin without for years and still managed success.
Fact is, with the financial power the EPL generates, we'd do damage down there.

I think ranger is a good team in par with psv or marseille. With regards to best fans, I know your not all like it but statistics speak for themselves that fights always follow matches or is it the other way round. The football is pre-fight entertainment. Again I know your not all like that.

Yes there is a certain number of absolute dickheads that sully's the name of our club. But like u said, that's just some, every team has a**eholes who support them and embarrass the others. However, the majority of Rangers fans are loyal and great supporters of the club. Any player who has played at Ibrox or been in an old firm game will tell you that there is nothin else like it in the world.

NUFC rumours:

Cissoko or Pieters to be done and dusted by Friday to allow the player to play against the unwashed. Most likely to be Pieters, Cissoko has been linked with bigger clubs in the past. Wouldn't be surprised to see Arsenal bid for him considering Eboue has gone from the defense as well as Clichy.

In regards to a striker, we'll either sign an unproven at this level foreigner in a top(ish) European league, or it'll be a young upcoming British player from the Championship. Either neither can be procured, no-one will come in til Jan.

It also looks like we'll be spending in the Jan window to cover for the few players that will be involved in the African Nations.
