Newcastle set for a triple raid on Tottenham as Redknapp looks to cut down on the wage bill after missing out on the Champions League. The magpies are rumoured to be considering approaches for strike pair Jermaine Defoe and Roman Pavlyuchenko as well as keeping tabs on on-loan duo Jamie O'hara and David Bentley. O'hara is said to be happy at Wolves but would be unlikely to remain at Molineux should they get relegated. Bentley is unlikely to want to remain at Birmingham as his appearances have been restricted and he is after first team football. Wilson Palacios is another potential target as lack of game time at Spurs may mean the combative midfielder is seeking an exit.

Think any of that lot could be headed to NE1 ED?

Do we all crave big name signings? Unless they are called Alan Shearer we don't normally get it right.Much rather unearth a gem like Tiote even if we sell on eventually.Would love another crowd pleaser like Ben Arfa though.Like to see us sold out every home game too.

Not keen on Sow maybe a one season wonder particularly with Eden Hazard and Gervinho playing up front with him at Lille.As we know from Stefan Guivarch leading French strikers don't always make it here and Im concerned about Sows sell on potential
