Quite possibly true as neither Bentdner or Derdiyok are the top targets. Remy certainly fits Pardew's requirement for a pacey, mobile forward.

Would be a terrific signing, but won't happen as he would cost no less than 10 million. A more realistic target would be miralem sulejmani who is the closest in terms of skill to Craig Bellamy which is the type of Striker pardhew stated he wants.

was watching ssn and stole are ahead of us in the race to sign mr average bentner. you would think we were the bigger club, but todays stats dont lie. i really dont think we will sign him.
